Near Ft. Bragg NC here. Went outside, looked up waited 20 or so seconds then, Ooh, white rock!. Saw four in like 10 minutes.

Pretty nice viewing here in North Carolina. I'm viewing from the outskirts of a small town so there is still some light pollution but I'm spotting 2-3 every minute as soon as I step outside. I can only imagine how nice the show must be on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Viewing just out side of Charlotte NC. Think we were out there for about 40 min. I counted 10 =(

I'm on the outskirts of the Atlanta suburbs and it's looking really nice out here. Saw 5 in 3 minuets and in a matter of 10 minuets I saw 10.

Cold as hell out tonight though!

I've seen a few here in Dallas tonight!

OK in that short smoke break I saw 5 and 1 beautiful slow mover with a long tail. freaking awesome!

Unfortunately, my next door neighbor and a few others N/NE of me think that a glaring light by their front door or side garage entrance will deter criminals, SO, I can't look N or NE and the lights are even obscuring some of the activity in the S which is only faint since there is the light pollution.


Geez, there isn't even any crime around here but we must burn that fuel! Anyway, I was out for about 30 minutes and saw probably 6 with 3 being really great ones - long streaks and bright. All these were in the S and SW sky.

So, I'd say it is worth it to get back up around 3 and see what else I might find. But it really pisses me off that this is such a great meteor show and I'm getting stinking light pollution from the neighbors!

North Alabama here. I saw 8 in about 20 minutes! Very cool. Love it!

At 11:52 I saw the most spectacular one I ever witnessed in my whole life.

It literally lit the whole area up...

It was so bright it freaked me out.

Glad I convinced the wife to join me... or else she would not have believed me!

I plan on staying up pretty late so I can watch it at 5 AM, hopefully I don't get too drunk and pass out.

i was just out and seen many south to south east... as its proving... anywhere you look... your chances are good :)

I live up North of Chicago, can I see them well at this latitude? What is the best area to look? My balcony faces south, which is unfortunately has the city lights on the horizon. It's not too bad though, I am close to the WI border.

Southern Ohio here and have seen some really nice ones. Some are orangish and some seem to be bluish. Tools my kids out and watched again tonight.

Mississippi Gulf Coast here. Clear Sky, I can see them.

In northwest Ohio here didn't see much.. It's 1235 here what time would be best? I am tired but I would stay up or sleep then wake up to see the peak time .
