Re: THE BIBLE STUDY ANSWER THREAD, ASK YOUR QUESTION AND GET THE ANSWER WITH BIBLE PRECEPTS OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT
he is addressing the king but he is also addressing satan who put his spirit on the king of tyrus. If you look at the whole chapter you will notice isaiah was propecying against the king and then he started to address satan
this is how satan works through kings and governments

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

Excellent clear response! Thanks.

no this was a teaching of the roman catholic church. corinthians chapter 15

23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
Ps 110:1 Matt 22:44 Luke 20:43 Acts 2:34 Heb 1:13

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
Psa 8:6 Eph 1:22 Heb 2:8

28
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man (Jesus), it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemes against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven.

Another question....what is the Holy Spirit (like how is it experienced for the Christian)...and why can't it be forgiven if you blaspheme it? How could you even blaspheme it?

Another question that comes to mind: in some verses it says there is a sin which leads to death...what is that referring to?

Why do some people cut and paste bible verses into thread replies, sometimes not posting anything other than the bible verse?

Is it sort of like a witch attempting to cast a magic spell?

the holy spirt is a spirit of good wisdom and counsel and our guide. The messiah said it is the comforter to true believers.Your body is the temple of the holy spirit that is is why it is imperative to live clean and godly feeding yourself the spiritual food. The holy spirit will not enter into an unclean house because she will get sstifled and not function in that person.

To blaspheme is to speak evil off.IT is a gift from the father and it is not to be trampled on or spoken ill off. There are people who maake fun of such and some people in churches doing all sort of cackling like hens and laughing and screaming saying it is the holy spirit when it is not

The unpardonable sin is in context a part of the dispensation of the Law. It is a specific sin of blasphemy, in which a person would credit the devil for the work of the Holy Spirit.. The Scribes and Pharisees committed this sin in attributing the work of Jesus to the Devil. see Matthew 12:24, Mark 3:22, Luke 11:15)

I'm still curious about

About acts 20:28 referring to Jesus as God.

I know that the trinity is a pagan roman catholic doctrine, but Jesus was able to live without sin, and was also called "my lord, My God" and in acts 28 it says God purchased us with his own blood.

I just don't understand

jesus is the first fruits o men who died and went u to the father

the time of the end will come when he will restore order back on the earth at his second coming rstoring his people and mount zion back to the father power.

So he is still reigning until all this is accomplished even in heaven today.

when he comes again he will give believers immortal life casting away the curse of death

the father hasve entrusted all things to him so when he have accomplished all things. then he the son will will be subject unto the father who did put all things in his care.

then the father will be all in all

I'm still curious about

About acts 20:28 referring to Jesus as God.

I know that the trinity is a pagan roman catholic doctrine, but Jesus was able to live without sin, and was also called "my lord, My God" and in acts 28 it says God purchased us with his own blood.

I just don't understand

I want to go there because this is jesus proclaiming to the apostles that he is the son

matt16:13:17
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15 He[jesus] saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

I gotta say, as an honest Christian, who is truly confused, and truly just trying to figure out the truth (I was only called out of the world by God 10 months ago and haven't been studying scriptures my whole life) I really find your response here disheartening, accusational, and un-Christ like. I think its sad that as a Christian you would respond to anyone like that let alone a brother in Christ. Shouldn't we be edifying the body of Christ and not causing strife..

In regards to your response regarding Acts 20:28, if you read it in context it's not talking about Christ here, It's paul talking and it says ..church of God, which he purchased with his own blood.

Re: THE BIBLE STUDY ANSWER THREAD, ASK YOUR QUESTION AND GET THE ANSWER WITH BIBLE PRECEPTS OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18535219

read luke 13 and matthew 23

it's talking about the blaspheme of not letting the holy spirit speek through you when you're delivered to the antichrist.

here for example:
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

where does it talk about the healing plant with 7 leaves
 Quoting: Dr. Greenthumb

The healing plants is only mentioned in the book of adam and eve.Which is no longer part of the bible
 Quoting: maxoman
The tree of life makes a return to the same place it was originally planted and once the new earth is established it will be in New Jerusalem and it's 12 varieties of seed will be the base for the new forests.

Eze:47:6:
And he said unto me,
Son of man,
hast thou seen this?
Then he brought me,
and caused me to return to the brink of the river.
Eze:47:7:
Now when I had returned,
behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

Re:22:1:
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life,
clear as crystal,
proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Re:22:2:
In the midst of the street of it,
and on either side of the river,
was there the tree of life,
which bare twelve manner of fruits,
and yielded her fruit every month:
and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
