from the original scriptures are the words elohim, why is that translated and still used in the singular as a single G-d?
There are many documented precursors to the contents of the included parts of both old and new testaments, given by different dieties to different peoples many years before those claimed to be by your one and only true G-d and his 'son', how do you account for these anomalies?
Quoting: magic juan 29050358 This was done to misguide the masses and to hide the real name of the creator and Jesus from the true children of Israel. The word God and Lord were injected into the bible and is a babylonian term for master and a deity.

In this regard, the method of indoctrinating through fear and the creation of a single entity to base that fear on, Satan, undermines the original concepts of the battle between the sons of light and the sons of darkness plays on a multiple of entities and therefore a multiple of deities?
The 'original' writings always spoke in the plural, therefore recognising the flaws of monotheism and preventing them from accurate acceptance.
This is more akin to the concept of Ma'at and even Zoroastrianism, and again bearing in mind that these 'original scriptures' were already in place through previously existing systems of creationism based their concepts on dualism rather than a singular creator.
Until the unquantifiable ideals of Ahkenaten, sketchy as they still are, the idea of a monotheist system was unheard of and unrecognised and for a singl;e entity to be responsible must indicate that monotheism is theoretical and itself heretical to the existing structures and designed as competition.
