Is this on a plate boundary? Don't normally see quakes that far north.

This x100.....I'm going to be sweating bullets if we see more quakes in the pole areas leading up to 12/21/12.

Yup, very interesting !

Was just looking on USGS and thinking that all these quakes we've had at the poles this past year might be somehow related to the migration of the magnetic poles !

But who can really say for sure ?

Very shallow at only 9.8 km.
I know this location does not see much quake action. Checking to see just how rare it is.

Ahh...yes. I see you posted a thread about santa claus, elves and reindeer. Where's the science in that? Reindeer tsunamis? Seriously? The location of this quake brings up some signigicant issues and you all are talking about elves. Didn't even post a link of the quake..someone else had to do that for you.
Frankly, I don't care who posted what first. It doesn't matter. That's not why I'm here.

And for the record, I did not see your thread and glp did not alert me to your thread or any other thread when I was posting.
But hey, if it bothers you that much, I'll post in your thread and suggest pin. After all, that's what matters..right?

Ok!

Lets look at this a little closer.. Where is the magnetic north pole and where is the north pole..

When we figure this out then we will know if it is pole shift or just the russian SUB that sank and has now just Exploded....

Yes it is unusual. I'm reading up on polar quakes right now.
Finding out some interesting things. I'll report back my findings when I'm done. This will probably take a while.
Let's just say that this could be very significant. Still reading and researching. I just don't want to jump to any conclusions. I need facts...

Thanks for your thoughtshf Any info you might can come up with would be much appreciated.
