A Riddle For Nobody Special.....

Here's a clue....
The little toy dog is covered with dust,
But sturdy and stanch he stands;
And the little toy soldier is red with rust,
And his musket moulds in his hands.
Time was when the little toy dog was new,
And the soldier was passing fair;
And that was the time when our Little Boy Blue
Kissed them and put them there.

"Now, don't you go till I come," he said,
"And don't you make any noise!"
So, toddling off to his trundle-bed,
He dreamt of the pretty toys;
And, as he was dreaming, an angel song
Awakened our Little Boy Blue---
Oh! the years are many, the years are long,
But the little toy friends are true!

Ay, faithful to Little Boy Blue they stand,
Each in the same old place---
Awaiting the touch of a little hand,
The smile of a little face;
And they wonder, as waiting the long years through
In the dust of that little chair,
What has become of our Little Boy Blue,
Since he kissed them and put them there.

Little Boy Blue!

A poem in the form of a riddle? Or a riddle in the form of a poem. Or perhaps, it riddles me not...

One wonders why;

Why should any one hold you high when
not even the highest can count.

Why as he says good by, tear in eye, soon all shall die, why would you ask for light when you are a light unto yourself.

How about a clue that wasnt written in 1888... perhaps somethin post 1988

It's not really a clue. It is a hint of the scenario.

Basically, they prepped the material, and waited for his return from the spirit to material, but fully remembered.

He set things in motion. They kept charge awaiting the day for his return, in the material.

Basically, there is a place in the spiral of our solar system that would be of a nature that produces the ideal condition for his return. The dog and the musketeer were to keep the secrets safe until his return.

Now, he has returned, and it is ok to start revealing 'the secrets'.

At the same time, they, the dog and the musketeer, wonder what he has been through in the intervening places of time where they were 'disconnected' from each other.

Now, they are seeing him, and what he has been through...but he has yet to awaken to it all.
