What does this 144,000 saved mean in Revelation?

Its true though; the bible is symbolism not ltieral.

astrotheology... seasons.... mostly fictional human personifications of astronomical constellations..

but what i think is it is a distraction, a layering within layers, so you cannot cast off the bible completely;;;; just dont think god is some phantom authority.... it is something beyond our understanding; yet within us and we have to find it. It is not biblical, imo.

I believe in extraterrestiral geneticists before i believe in the biblical god.

How about going over the verses after these two and post the 'meaning' compared to what the Bible promotes. Do the vision verses before that remain in mystery after reading the explanation.

Da:7:16:

Here is an easy way to look at it, the 144,000 are from Israel, from the 12 tribes. We are not mentioned there because the rapture happens at the begening of chapter four when he says come up here, and then from the churches point of view we watch from heaven.

You can see this more evident if you get your hands on an old red letter edition. Jesus is for the church, the 144,000 that will be saved will be from Isreal, The first 3 chapters red letters boom chapter 4 on no more red letters till the very end of the book. Meaning the church is not in the rest of the passages, Jesus talks to His followers.

Also the terminology from chapter 4 and on are very jewish in nature and are directed to them.

One more easy examples at the beginning of the book the Churches are described as lamp stands, then chapter 4 and onward where are the lamp stands??? in heaven.

There are many more places to see this but that is a few examples to give you a reference point

The time for judging is when the 7th trump sounds, that is the same event as the 7th Angel 'beginning to sound' in Re:10, a chapter that is preceded by one having 2 woes in it. Zec:13 even gives the ratio of the ones who remain alive and how many are sent to the grave. You can see the church as being in the 'servants group' in Isa:65.

Re:7 is the sealing of the first of the 12 tribes and they are not joined by all the rest until the resurrection of Re:20:4 happens. That also includes the church as some Gentiles from before the Church existed also qualify for life in the 1,000 years. The ones mentioned after the 12 Tribes in that chapter are some Gentiles hat gave gone through 'great tribulation' and that is hell so where they are is the GWT. That makes Re:7 defining when the first are sealed by God and when the last are sealed by God.

The 'rapture' when you go to heaven to meet God is at the end of the 1,000 year reign just when fire is sending Satan to the lake.

Isa:51:6:
Lift up your eyes to the heavens,

and the earth shall wax old like a garment,

The Bible is literal. The story thing is a lie and you are deceived. You need to be 100% sure about your belief because it has to do with your salvation, your existence through all of eternity.

God gave us Jesus so that all of mankind may be saved. The only requirement is to personally ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. John 3:16 The Bible was written by men that were inspired by God. God's voice was put on paper through these men. Guarded through the ages for us. I would recommend the King James Version.

The reference for the 144,000 is for the twelve tribes of Israel and then there are multitudes of Gentiles.

The Jews are the people of Jesus, His homeland people. The Jews are the catalyst for the events of the world to happen. God loves all of mankind so much that He gave us Jesus. He gave us our free will to choose Jesus.

The Bible is a beautiful book if you try to understand it. Not all parts of the Bible are going to make sense to everyone. If you truly have accepted Jesus then the Holy Spirit resides in you. Understanding of the Bible takes thought. Some scripture makes sense immediately and others may take while. The more you engage, the easier it gets.

The Book of Revelation tells us that the world will not end but it will go through hell before Jesus returns to renew the world and take residence in the world--Israel to be exact. If you study Revelation you can see it unfolding now in the Middle East.

By accepting Jesus we will return with Him.

It really isn't an impossible task for God to preserve His instruction, the Bible, for us on earth. You need to have faith to know God and then you need to vigorously pursue Him. Beware of debates which can be very confusing. Give God a one on one time and ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding.

Good gosh! I'm German & native american (maybe a splash of French) married to a French roman (flesh of my flesh).... How the heck can I figure this out?? I did ask forgiveness of my sins and the sins of my past forefathers sins as well :) no matter what Jesus lives in my heart <3

It was prolly a big number at the time they pulled it from their ass....
