Explaination for Isaiah 42:18-22

In verse 22, who in this Earth is robbed and spoiled by the gentile nations and are on the bottom of the social and economic ladder? lol.. this is talking about a specific people.

The explanation's in vs.24

"Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the Lord, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

God turned from Israel, displaced her out of her land and into other countries since 70 a.d. and punished her.

But He'll draw a remnant of her back to him during the time of Jacob's trouble(tribulation) and then once again in the 1,000yr. reign of Jesus on earth, he'll rule from Jerusalem and do a new thing as per Isa.43:18.

The ones in the physical grave are blind prisoners. For the house of Israel the exact sequence is in Eze:37 and the definition of death being the land of the eney is in the prophecy in Jer:31

Isa:42:16:
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not;
I will lead them in paths that they have not known:
I will make darkness light before them,
and crooked things straight.
These things will I do unto them,
and not forsake them.
Isa:42:17:
They shall be turned back,
they shall be greatly ashamed,
that trust in graven images,
that say to the molten images,
Ye are our gods.

And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not;
I will lead them in paths that they have not known:

Jer:31:9:

A voice was heard in Ramah,

and bitter weeping;
Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children,
because they were not.
Jer:31:16:
Thus saith the LORD;
Refrain thy voice from weeping,
and thine eyes from tears:
for thy work shall be rewarded,
saith the LORD;
and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
Jer:31:17:
And there is hope in thine end,
saith the LORD,
that thy children shall come again to their own border.

M't:2:16:
Then Herod,
when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men,
was exceeding wroth,
and sent forth,
and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem,
and in all the coasts thereof,
from two years old and under,
according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.
M't:2:17:
Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet,
saying,

In Rama was there a voice heard,

The God of Israel mandates obedience to His Law.

Those who obey are blessed.

Those who rebel are cursed.

When the Northern Kingdom of Israel sinned [sin is the transgression of God's Law] God divorced them, arranged
for Assyria to destroy the Northern Kingdom of Israel
and remove the Israelites from Palestine [many of them
were resettled in the cities of the Aryan Medes.]

These Northern Israelites never returned to Palestine.
Sometimes they are called the "10 lost tribes."]

Over a century later, God likewise punished the Southern
Kingdom of Israel [Judah] via Babylon destroying Jerusalem,
Edom burning the temple and the Israelites being removed
from Palestine to Babylon.

When God's Anointed King from the East, Cyrus, conquered
Babylon, he decreed some of the Southern Israelites return
to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple... and they did.
