Be AFRAID... WHY has the government announced that BOEING has created an EMP? !?!?!

Perhaps they're not thinking about using it on any of US' enemies, perhaps they'll use it on the American people, something like what is portrayed in the TV series "Revolution"...just a thought.

I guess it depends on how big the 'blast' area is will have some bearing on whether they intend to use it on citizens here on US soil or not. If they can localize and contain the effects to no more than a few city blocks in area, then I think they will be quite eager to test it out on protest rallies and other instances of civil disobedience. What do you want to bet Michigan might get a taste of it soon, and then it's off to Damascus and Tehran...

I'm not surprised, I just wonder what other devices we have that we are not disclosing to the American public at large. I removed a few years back a show on the discovery Chanel or the history can't rember. However, they were demonstrating the principals of an emp weapon on a car. Fascinating times we live in no?

Now who will be the first country we get to test this on? Think about it no more missile strikes killing "innocents" just I high altitude burst and boom whole info structure down. Hmmm I wonder if I should put a faraday cadge around my car motor.

Yup that would be the case. Always remember the military is at least a decade more advanced in knowledge then they release to the public.

Unless this is something different than was recently announced there is no "blast", just dirrected energy that results in "lights out" with no damage to structure or biological entities.

Such a weapon was reported to exist back in 2001. Supposedly it could set off 150 pulses, each of which would destroy electronics within a radius of 1000 feet.

Back in the 1990s an airforce officer wrote a memo that the technology existed to develop such a weapon and that there was no reason not to do so. Afterwards the government got very quiet about it.

Similarly, in the late 1980s the airforce ended their F15 satellite killer force saying they were going to electronic countermeasures instead. Nobody has heard a word since about it. I speculate that the US has 100% control of all satellites if and when they want it.

We always hear about Chinese hacking, but we never hear about what the US does. Why? The US isn't going to play cat and mouse with the hackers. By letting the hackers do their thing they can be studied and effective countermeasures can be prepared, but not agressively used since that would escalate the technical ability of the enemy more quickly. The US holds back it's own capabilities so that countermeasures cannot be designed against US cyber weapons.

The US has been playing this secret weapons game for almost a century. They may be getting hacked and may be losing secrets, but they aren't sitting on their duffs. Somebody is getting tricked and one day we'll know who.

This is totally true but I had a dream about an EMP going off the other day.

But it wasn't a bomb.

My dream took place with me in my bed trying to sleep. At first I thought it was real to be honest with you.

They shot the "EMP" down from some type of jet or something in the form of a constant beam that would just move as the jet moved. It washed through me as it passed by, like a wave and I was temporarilly paralyzed. I heard an electronic buzzing. Somehow in the dream I just knew it was an EMP. I'm not sure why it effected me. It seemed in the dream that it was more of some type of mind control device, and the idea wasn't to knock out electronics.

I had that dream about two days ago. Almost posted it here on this site but decided that would be silly.
