The Jews are still waiting for their messiah to rule from Israel The Muslims are waiting for al Mahdi to be the 12th caliphate The Buddhists are waiting for Maitreya The Hindus are waiting for Krishna It seems to be the scenario is "we Have to progress after this great new revelation with this world teacher and if you're not with us you are an enemy" and the only ones fitting this category is quite frankly Christians, who aren't waiting for a guru or a world leader and will not agree to his proposals unlike all the other faiths who will accept a guru. |

One was the son of "The Promise" with God (Isaac), and one was his son from HIS OWN WORKS (and the devil) - Ishmael. Ishmael was originally thought to be the Son of Promise by Abraham, but God told him that the child of promise would come through his wife, NOT his concubine. So when Ishmael was 13 years old (Israel's age of a young man's rite of passage to manhood, btw), wife Sarah had him send Ishmael away b/c she did not like him around HEr child, Isaac. But God said BOTH sons were "blessed" and destined to give birth to great nations. Both did. Isaac became the father of the nation of Israel. But people forget about Ishmael. He was a "Man of War" but also Abraham's son, so still heir to God's blessing (to be the father of many nations), which he was, he also had 12 sons. Sooo, in a very long-winded way, I am saying the FINAL WAR will be between the two sons of Abraham (or their descendants), Israel and Islamic nations. |
