Sir, this was before Jesus Christ. I agree OP. I think there are many biblical prophesies coming to pass and it's becoming easier to separate evilness and injustice from truth and goodness [link to en.wikipedia.org] |

Spreading throughout the Mediterranean and Europe, the Black Death is estimated to have killed 30–60 percent of Europe's population. All in all, the plague reduced the world population from an estimated 450 million to between 350 and 375 million in the 14th century. |

Deja Vu Russia's ancient calendar [inherited from Byzantium] was based on 7000 years from creation. As the last year of the ancient Russian/Byzantium calendar approached, Russians became very apocalyptic - thinking it would be the end of the world. Holy monks told God's Tsar that antichrist would arise. What was the year ? 1492 The holy monks were right... antichrist did appear. 1492 was the year Columbus "discovered America" ;-) . |

Not in 2000 years of Christianity's existence has there ever been such awareness and common agreement about the end of days coming soon. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25746898 I don't think that's true. I read that in 999 AD there was a mass hysteria about the turnover to 1000 AD which was supposed to hearald the second coming/end times. Governments stopped collecting taxes, people put down their arms and stopped fighting etc. |

They have been thinking this ever since Jesus ascended into the clouds. I'm sure tons of people thought Hitler was the Anti-Christ. I do believe we are in the end days. But only for obvious reasons. This planet is done for, the elite ran this game long enough. |

Not in 2000 years of Christianity's existence has there ever been such awareness and common agreement about the end of days coming soon. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25746898 I think if you opened you eyes, core Christians follow the 4 core teachings or Gospels of Jesus Christ as told through his friends of the time. It is only 120 pages total for the 4 books titled Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Following those 120 pages or the Philosophy of God or how to live here and then get ready for there is rewarding in the relationship one develops with God, Jesus Christ and their Holy Spirit. Those Christians are not concerned with the end, it is when it is. But if you have ever navigated a map and highway system, it sure is helpful to use road signs......keeps you pointed in the right direction.
