I have a child that is going on Three. We have never vaccinated and never will...We are asked if we want different shots all the time for our little girl and we always refuse. I tell them why I refuse (vaccines inject poison). It is left at that. Also, I live in California...Silicon Valley to be exact.

Maybe the mother was on drugs or something...Seems that something else must be going on for this to have happened...

my daughter with downs syndrome was 17, I filed with the school to opt out of vaccinations....

she came home and 'indicated'(not much language) that the
'nurse' had given her a 'shot'...

(she showed me her arm/shoulder and said 'hurt', I asked her what happened to her arm, she said 'shot'....when I took her to school the next morning, I had her show me where they had taken her to give her the shot, she lead me to the 'school nurse' office)

I asked the nurse if she had given my daughter a shot....she said no....

well, my daughter is like a small child that can't keep secrets and will just speak out and doesn't make stuff like this up out of no where....

she knows what a shot is, she thinks when her blood is drawn, it's a shot...so if she said 'shot', some kind of needle went into her arm....

I worked in Child Welfare for the government as an accountant.

The "beast" octopus if you will creates new "cases" to draw down more Federal money to hire more workers and create more cases... etc. ... thus the "blob" grows.

There are good social workers, but I would not trust my own sister who is one compared to the one that showed up at my house and was polite.

As the scripture tells... the wise women will have their babies at home out of the "system" with midwives.

The other "goyan cattle" will go into the hopper chutes for their WIC welfare, benefits, shots and injections and drugs and the gene pool will be dumbed down further and eventually the goal is sterility for their lot.

Well, there are times I think the authorities should intervene.

I watched a man die because his family (Jehovah Witnesses) refused a blood transfusion. A simple blood transfusion and he'd be here with his kids, living a full life. Their warped doctrine permits them to have certain elements of blood products infused but they can't have a full transfusion and his body couldn't remake enough red blood cells fast enough after his surgery.

Watching him waste away and eventually die was hard when it was soooo unecessary. As an adult he can choose that stupidity, a baby can't. I've seen babies born addicted to heroin, if the mother "refuses" treatment for the baby, should we really let that kid suffer? In this case, if the kid needs treatment for HER STD and she refuses, the authorities should let that baby be ill?

5* OP and my heart goes out to the parents.

I have known many parents that regretted letting the needle go into the body of their children.

Your legal recourse is pretty much gone once the needle penetrates the skin.

If the situation is as described in the two links then I hope the parents win their case.
It is outrageous that the state would seize a child from its parents over something like this.
HepB is not common in children with uninfected mothers/family members since it requires the exchange of bodily fluids.

Having said that -
I think any parent who decides not to immunize their child is foolish but not a particular danger to public health.
It isn't like hepB is epidemic and spread by casual contact as are/were polio, smallpox, measles, cp, etc.
You may as well have them immunized against it so that later in life, when they may indeed be exposed, it is one less thing to worry about.

This is like the KGB or Nazis people.... she harbors little loyalty or sympathy for family... she honestly believes she is on a mission.

Heads up.... don't do stupid stuff in public where cameras abound that you may regret.

Most social workers are mindless liberal sheep. Another example of our corrupt leadership trickling down into the people.

When the chicken is ill and running about you dont chop off the feet, you chop off the head. Fix whats ill and the rest will be easy.

I did construction job for one general director of cps in northern cali.
I worked at his house for few weeks (remodel) guy /wife with 3 children and grandparents live with him....after observing them for some time id say a decent family. At the end of project completion we had interesting conversation about cps operations and situations.
He told me that yes system in place to protect children is not perfect and once in a while some innocent family will get wronged...... this what gets out to public.....but the real problem he said is that there cases every week.....that would make your hair stand up....but because minor involved or because there some plea bargain or gag order....these stories never get out.....he said there is alot of great parents......but if parent is nuts......stories of microvave or stove top torture is childs play.

Apparently it is necessary for the father to come the hospital fully armed, when insisting that his child not be shot full of chemicals. I say "father" because mom is kinda busy with her part.

I was just thinking the same. Thank heaven my youngest is now 25! We always had private pediatricians and specialists for her. And because I am a physician too, they would listen to, and discuss my preferences, etc. I would not allow them to use the combined vaccines on her and insisted that they special order the killed virus single disease versions that were much safer back then. Given that she's testing out with an IQ of 151 and her SAT's got her several scholarship offers, I guess we didn't destroy too many brain cells. Of course 25 years back they didn't have the crap in vaccines that they do today - and the earlier versions of single-disease vaccines may not even be available today at any price.

I'd be willing to bet a good deal of money that this woman was on Medicaid, not in a private hospital, and wasn't articulate enough to intimidate some scum-of-the-earth "social worker" who decided "the mother's answers were not good enough". If the woman had only had brains enough to say she was going to "delay" the vaccinations until she and baby were discharged and she could discuss it with her private pediatrician - they would have backed off immediately. Or she could have called the ACLU and gotten legal representation down there immediately and the discussion about her child and the vaccinations would have ended then and there. The poor who don't know how the games are played in the medical world end up getting screwed over by the "system" that was put in place to avoid child neglect or abuse. Sadly now "neglect" is defined as NOT doing what some idiot hospital says you "must" do.

I hope some lawyer contacts this woman and she gets her baby back and then they file a lawsuit against the hospital, it's employees, and the PD who assisted in this outrageous and probably illegal behavior!

Social worker thought that she was above God; they all do. If you're a social worker, may God have mercy on your soul.

Trouble is - like all failing 'care' systems - there's not enough staff and so the staff they do have have very limited time and resources to actually implement a thorough care strategy! My experience of many social workers is that as an individual they do care - want to help, but the're most often mis-guided by extremely lousy training and protocols that defy the very word 'care'.

It's fucking ridiculous.

The social services ruined my life.

They opted to give my drug addict, alcoholic whore of a mother full care access instead of my sober, sane, working father. Those were the 80's.

I sat in court at 6 and watched a judge grant her full care access...she was so drunk in court she fell off her chair - waltzed up to the judge and helped herself to his water.....obviously her ability to function while off her face on drugs and booze impressed him!

Needlesstosay life with her was what nightmares are made of and after 3 years of utter hell we were put into 'care'....lol CARE!! Anything BUT care!
Again, my father was still sane, sober, hard-working with a large empty house.
I was never allowed to see my father after that - finally met up with him at 16. He's such a strong man - part of him will always be broken due to the system and it's HORRENDOUS levels of incompetence.

It's truly the end of the world when a mother isn't allowed to protect the health of her new-born. It's an upside-down world, i'm surprised any of us are able to function at this point.

Social workers are like soldiers, they have to follow orders from on high, or they will loose their jobs. People go into social work in the first place, because they want to help people. They have a caring mind-set.
