There are many illegal things that kill people, so why do they think making guns illegal would be any better?

There are also many everyday items that could kill people that there's no way they could outlaw them.

the super majority of gun crimes and murders involving a gun are done with illegally owned firearms not legally owned ones they just politicize those. You rarely hear about the hundreds of people shot across the country each day by criminals who bought guns on the street or stole them shooting each others or innocents but when something like this happens that make it out like legal guns are the issue. Then they use words like assault rifle and make everyone think the shooter has a machine gun spraying bullets all over the planet when we know thats not the case.

Yeah, The lockdown is just that. Kids go into classrooms or bathrooms and huddle.

I've told my children that if anything like that happened to just get out anyway possible and run. Don't worry about anything else, windows, break them. It's a sad day that I've had to have that conversation with them.

Years ago, my child was attending a public preschool in an elementary building. It went on lock down because someone had threatened the principal. That's why I started telling them that.
