| Anonymous Coward User ID: 20063594 12/14/2012 05:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i just wanna know why they are NOT calling the 223 bushmaster used a AR15? cause thats what it had to have been. to my knowledge all bushmaster makes is semiauto rifles mostly AR15 clones, chambered in 5.56/223. also the kid was 20 so where did he get the handguns from? you have to be 21 to buy a handgun. man this is sad, i love my guns but something needs to be done to limit this type of behavior from happening. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20063594 ![]() why the bs flag? [link to www.bushmaster.com] bushmaster mostly makes AR15s and something does need to be done, i think its bs that responsible gun owners get a bad name when some nutjob does shit like this, dont get me wrong its not the guns fault its the operator. just like when a drunk driver kills someone, they never blame the car, but when a gun is involved the demonize guns. a person who wants to harm others will find a way to do so reguardless of the tool he/she chooses. dont ban guns fix the problems in peoples lives that drive them to do harm. ![]() So how do you propose we do that?Send every legal gun owner to a deranged shrink to see if we're mentally ill before we get a gun?If that's the case nobody would own a gun because these libtard brain addles shrinks believe that if you want to own a gun you're a mental case. IDK brother but this aint good for the firearm community, i ask my self what can be done, and honestly i cant think of anything that wouldnt hurt innocent gun owners. so what do you think sould be done if anything ? |
| Abi ~ User ID: 25045778 12/14/2012 06:00 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Can someone explain to me how someone armed with a glock and a sig can hit 27 people? Even with massive amounts of training, you can't hit anything stationary beyond 15 yards with real accuracy with a pistol, let alone running targets. Maybe a specially barreled competition pistol could hit accurately at 15 yards, or a 22. This shooter was able to kill 18 running and screaming kids with a pistol? I don't really buy it. I bet there's a 2nd shooter. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29158753 The victims were probably huddled in a room like they are taught on lockdown. ^^that..you can take out quite a few people..easily..;( yes ... huddled quietly is OK if the shooter isn't in the room. if he is, something else needs to be done. agreed You accept the love you think you deserve.... And that the way to prevent such things from happening is to give weapons to even more people so they can "defend" themselves. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15400092 Yes, and you disagree why? Because the shooter wouldn't have been able to get the gun if they were illegal? Right, because criminals always follow the rules. Maybe if these mass shooters thought someone in the crowd might have a gun, they'd think twice. OR, they'd be taken down before so many were killed. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 3538082 12/14/2012 06:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You can't stop people from getting guns. They'll get the illegally if they have to. However, you can stop, hinder, minimize the death count by having others armed and trained. Had there been armed and trained security guards, or even teachers in that school, that death count would be MUCH lower. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 8032361 12/14/2012 06:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | President Obama cares about people. You may disagree with him on certain issues, but he's not a bad person. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1791086 Obama cares about himself, his image, and his 'duty' to finish off the transition to the United Soviet States of Amerika. He wants to destroy the country from within. That means he is evil, and yes, he's a very bad person. If he got the news of the shootings at 10:30 this morning, by 10:31 he was cracking open his first can of malt liquor in celebration over his new 'opportunity' to bring the UN gun treaty to us...and by 'bring to', I mean 'force upon'. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 28083399 12/14/2012 06:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Shut up yuppy. Seems to me the only places this bullshit happens is where everyone is disarmed. People like you are mental, literally. Grow a pair of fucking balls. Kids are not idiots. We taught children to fight wars with deadly weapons thousands of years ago. They were bright enough then, they are bright enough now. Our society is being molded to a horrible script of spongebob or some other mentally retarding program on their lovely box of lies. If they had it their way, we would all be either chained together or so dumbed down that we'd all ride short buses wearing safety helmets. Sponge bob? really. You are a very sad individual, seek help soon. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 20257839 12/14/2012 06:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | very sad news :( Quoting: sarah61 for all those going on about gun control, there have been shootings all over the world in countries that have gun control. i do though myself think there should maybe some sort of limits on the types of guns people can have legally in the USA, surely there is no need for assault rifles like the ones that have been used in this case (from what i have seen on the news). ![]() There is just one flaw in your thoughts there genius. Criminals don't run down to the local gun shop and buy a gun. |

| Aristide Torchia User ID: 29901291 12/14/2012 06:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Adam Lanza facebook page [link to www.facebook.com] Torchia was born in 1620. He was apprenticed in Leyden under the Elzevir family. After returning to Venice he published small works on philosophical and esoteric themes. In 1666, Torchia published De Umbrarum Regni Novem Portis (The Nine Doors to the Kingdom of Shadows), which was in turn based on the Delomelanicon, or Invocation of Darkness, a work supposedly written by Lucifer and that would allow the reader to summon devils. The Inquisition condemned Torchia for magic and witchcraft and burned him at the stake in 1667. |
