School shooting in Newtown CT-Breaking on Fox News

You're not alone. The cops have acted unemotional and detached about it and parents have been pictured laughing and carrying on with a few looking upset. Those who have been interviewed and supposedly 'crying' shed no actual tears...just odd. Not the level of despair you would expect to see for such a horrible tragedy, for 20 little children being massacred. The Sheriff's voice is casual as ever when he says 'yes it's a tragic situation...blah blah blah.' Just rea;;y weird stuff.

About Me

I have been employed as a School Psychologist at the Sandy Hook School since August of 1994, having previously worked as a School Psychologist in Redding, North Haven and New Haven Public Schools. I recieved my Masters and Sixth Year Professional Degrees from Southern Connecticut State University, and my undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY Cortland. Prior to working as a School Psychologist, I was employed in the Mental Health field as a Rehabilitation Assistant at a Psychiatric facility, a Psychology Assistant working in a group home with disabled adults as well as Community Mental Health Placement Specialist.

During my employment for the Newtown Public Schools, I have participated in many district and building based committees, including the District PPT Task Force, District Inclusion Committee and the District Conflict Resolution Committee. I have also attended meetings with the SHS Responsive Classroom Committee, Safe School Climate Committee, Special Education PLC, School Psychology Department meetings, building based SRBI grade level teams, Crisis Intervention Team, Safety Committee, the Student Instructional Team and the Planning and Placement Team, of which I am the chairperson. This school year I will be working as a team member with the Newtown Preschool Program for the two preschool classrooms who have relocated to our school.

My husband Bill and I have been married 31 years and are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, ages 25 and 28. My oldest daughter is employed as a High School Chorus Teacher in Southern New Jersey and is living with her husband Eric, who is a sportswriter. My younger daughter is attending Georgetown University full time to achieve a PhD in Chemistry. She is in her fourth year of graduate school and she received a Chemistry fellowship for her work in the area of malaria research. She hopes to work for the government when she completes her degree.

My husband Bill is employed as a Financial Consultant. We enjoy traveling and spending time at our lake home in the Finger Lakes in upstate New York. My hobbies include gardening, reading and the theater.

I truely enjoy working with the SHS staff, parents and children and am always ready to assist in problem solving , intervention and prevention.

The Principle . Vice principle and school psychologist were in a meeting with a parent when he broke his way in. They came out and tried to stop him and the Principle shouted to everyone to lock doors before she was shot. They were not targeted specifically but died because first to confront him...apparently.

I can understand why they might not show any pics of the kids etc.
But what about at the mothers house who was shot? How come there are no pictures of the ambulance taking her away to the morgue?

I'm not saying this for morbid grotesque reasons but it seems the standard media thing to show that kind of stuff over there.

This week, the woman in belgium who killed 3 of her savant kids and tried to commit suicide afterwards allegedly had lyme disease. She was in a tv show with her kids last year,
which were all home schooled.

Adam Lanza graduated high school 3 YEARS EARLY according to a friend in the article at the link below..

Also this might clear up the mother being a school teacher...
It may have been a decade ago that she worked as a teacher..

The separation hit the children hard, Kraft recalled.

When Nancy Lanza would go out to dinner with friends, she sometimes relied on Kraft to watch Adam Lanza, who was too boisterous for Ryan Lanza to manage. “He would have tantrums,” Kraft said. “They were much more than the average kid [had].” Yet he was not prone to violence, Kraft said.

“The kids seemed really depressed” by the breakup, Kraft said of the Lanza brothers. Ryan Lanza, 24, now lives in Hoboken, N.J. Police questioned him Friday, but law enforcement officials said he was cooperating and is not suspected of having anything to do with the shootings.

So if he graduated 3 years early that means that the woman may have given up her teaching job to look after Adam Lanza since he was what? 15??

To add to this, last night MSM said they went through a nasty divorce in 2008

They wait days now before taking the body away. Someone said the bodies kids might be in their till sunday. Foresic science had gotten a lot more complicated cause they have to take a zillions pics and maps for those computer reinactments so the media coverage can be long and drawn out in the newspaper and news.. Thank technology for making things way more complicated.

I just looked through the judicial system .. they didn't divorce through CT courts ..

Id be willing to give up the media blitz and not know the map and every single step the killer took if it meant honoring the bodies and doing the right thing and carrying them out like they used to right away after just a few hours of noting where they fell

Well on NBC today's show..I was watching it a while ago and they talked to i think it was the principal assistant and she said there was no Nancy Lanza that worked there as a teacher or that she might have been a substitute. something is way off here..???

I heard on the news she was temporary so substitute sounds right. Principal was then correct when saying she wasnt on the regular payroll. No conspiracy there.

I know a school where they get trainees and young teachers and subs and all kinds of temporary teachers in and out, its nothing new so theres nothing off.

She was a teachers aide at one point .. Idk if it was (as long ago as) when her son was at the school ..

Thanks, I live in CT so knew how to look for it ..

For real, I went through a nasty divorce from a bad bad person .. and there was never any parenting classes involved .. and it looks like whoever had to complete them messed up and had to go again .. Unless that is each of them individually

He was Autistic .. with some kind of personality disorder though ..

oh geezus - beyond the two guns he had on him? so he preemptively put guns there? If he had them on him, or near him they would have reported those right away no?

Who is saying this kid was Autistic???? Is it a confirmed diagnosis??? Or is this hearsay?? Let's all attack and hate those who are Autistic now. Sorry, this kid was not Autistic. This kid was mentally ill..not developmentally disabled.
