As sick, disgusting & inexcusable as this so clearly is gun bans aren't the answer. Your sentiment reminds me of those so willingly giving up their rights after 911 to preserve freedom. How free are we with no rights? I have 2 Children & I know that sick people will find a way to commit horrific acts & gun bans will NOT stop them from getting guns. Sorry, just the way it is.

That is the most rediculously biased assumption I've ever read. There have been MANY MANY MANY more intellectual thinkers and history-changers in public schools than home schools. If you say otherwise you're just an uninformed loony dumbass. The point, my illiterate friend, was that the majority of kids who are home schooled have a much harder time in the social-aspect of life than those who go to public schools. Does this mean every kid who is home schooled will have that problem? No. But the point is the CHANCES ARE HIGHER.

I just spoke to a friend of mine in CT. He said that a friend of his who is a teacher was asked to identify the dead children. I suspect there are more children dead than the 18 to 20 already identified.

I use GLP to get breaking news. However, I'm going to consider never going to this site again. I'm sickened by some of the comments on this thread. Children died today and many people on this thread are using this tragedy to promote their agendas. Just as sick as the shooter!

@ CBS2 here in the NY area, there is an interview of this nurse who was there when the parents of the 19 kids were told their children weren't coming home. I can't find a video of it yet

EXACTLY!!! This is so very sad!!! Did you ever read about what happened to the lady that had prayer taken out of schools? She had a horrible ending. We must pray for those who don't believe in God and his goodness! They are so full of demons and so full of hate and bitterness! Please pray for them everyday! We always said the most beautiful prayer before lunch every day! No school shootings then! Try to be the best person that you can be. Be sweet and kind, and try to help others.

Please homeschool your children if possible! I did, and it was well worth it!
