The thing that really makes me wonder tho is why if he had already killed her that morning why than go to the school to do more damage that she could not see? Some things we will never understand but it sure makes me wonder if there is more to this for sure.

Finally an appropriate comment - imagine these families and their extended families and then the community. You dont get over losing a child especially. These people will need special care for a long time but that will drop off with time - and then we dont know. A parent of one of the kids in the Colorado school killings ended up killing herself. So precious those young beautiful beings unable to live out their lives. Please take a moment to remember.

There have been quite a few tragedies in the past decades, but i tell you this particular has hit me hard, i have cried 4 times today, my soul-hurts, my gut-is wrenched, i feel as if i know these families lkke neighbors or family members. All i think about is how these families will cope with this, i try t look for a silver lining i see none. May G-d have mercy on all.

Seeing the news tonight when i got home , i was horrified and saddened to see what had happened, and as a father myself my heartfelt sympathies go out....
Unfortunately this kind of thing happened before in the UK, a place called dunblane (1996).
Again this was a school targetted , and licensed weapons used.
The response here in the uk was to ban many types of guns, i think something along these lines may well happen now in the USA.
We here in the UK had lost rights to own semi auto rifles after a previous incident in a place in the UK called Hungerford. Shortly afterwards (1996) we lost the rights to own hand guns completely.
Licensed rifles and shotguns for hunting are still permitted here , but licenses are only granted after very strict vetting.
