Sending warm thoughts over there now. Really hope all those classes full of children will be accounted for. But we must look past the anger. How many bullets are there in a pistol, or a rifle magazine? Seventeen to Thirty. I doubt this young assailant was a one shot one kill marksman.

So what kind of school security would allow an armed person to walk around enough time to empty several clips into the school students? here in Russia all schools have a checkpoint at the entrance to screen out unwanted elements. I'm not saying it works very good, but at least it's something. I am worried now that the US government (after this they don't deserve a large 'G') would use this opportunity to restrict firearms.

Banning guns that will do it. We thought that making it illegal to kill people would make it stop. Then we thought making it illegal to bring a firearm onto school grounds would make it stop. Making it illegal to steal a gun didn't stop it at that mall. How about making it illegal to drive drunk nope that didn't work in Dallas.

Ever since Cain and Abel murder has been present in our society. Taking away guns won't stop it either.

What might help though is if every citizen were required to have a firearm on them at all times. At least that would mitigate damages.
