I dread everything. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29462053 For the last year I've been going to the gym, eating well, but still I have this problem. I feel exactly as you do. We just have to keep going through it until the right job arrives. Try to breathe deeply and say many prayers for the right job. Good luck to you!! Just go to walmart and watch all the people, then understand that you are as good as anybody else with all the rights and priviliges as anybody else. When you start to feel anxious, take several deep breaths and realize that what you're feeling is your body and not you, so just ignore it. Put your attention on what the person you are talking is saying. If that doesn't get you there, you might need to get a doctor to give you something for anxiety while you retrain your body with successful interactions with other people. Also realize that you have the power to leave at anytime, if you really want to. You have only yourself to please, so don't worry about what other people think. Anybody. |

You could learn invaluable coping scales to help overcome your stress. Medication is also available that would put your mind at ease. Perhaps there are subconscious reasons why you have such high anxiety over looking for work. Maybe your subconscious is telling you that whatever job you're applying for, is not your true calling in life. |

I dread everything. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29462053 For the last year I've been going to the gym, eating well, but still I have this problem. I can tell you what worked for me. Cutting down on sugar, a high dha/Epa fish oil supplement, a good multivitamin, b- complex, and at least 5000 iu of vitamin d3 daily- more if you live up north. A probiotic is a good idea too. My story: Last January I began suffering from horrible anxiety/panic attacks. I was also having strange episodes of staring off into space and appearing drunk at times. Two panic attacks caused me to go to the er late at night. My blood sugar was checked and found to be in the mid 40's! There is a connection between anxiety and hypoglycemia. Don't count on a Dr to tell you that though. I was given a bottle of oj, a prescription for xanax, a referral for a psychiatrist, and sent on my way. No lie! After months on an ssri, I had enough! I changed my diet, took my supplements, and dropped the Dr and his meds. No more anxiety and no looking back! Good luck to you. "Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting; The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star, Hath had elsewhere its setting. And cometh from afar." —William Wordsworth |

All these things helped me a lot.... I'm naturally a pretty tense, and high strung person but I actually feel good and normal now. |

I agree with others that you are most likely magnesium deficient-- Thread: Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency If I were you though, I would also include some-- Vitamin D3 (most are seriously deficient in this) You can mega-dose by sunbathing nude or supp-- [link to www.iherb.com] and some St. John's Wort to detox your liver which is the "seat of the emotions"-- [link to www.luckyvitamin.com] Meditation can also be a huge benefit-- [link to personalexcellence.co] [link to www.summum.us] Most of all, remind yourself each day that you are giving up worrying and breath deeply! |

I used to have this problem too and than went on the Bulletproof Paleo Diet (google it). The butter, ghee and coconut oil freed me up from the negative emotions for some reason that I still do not understand. Did not put any weight on from all the butter etc that I now eat either. For some reason it works. Good luck to you and I shall be praying for your peace of mind. |
