Digging around the Internet a little this cold Russian evening I found quite an interesting article about how radars can seem to become 100% fail-proof in recognizing anything in the air. No more ECM jamming (unless a plane can somehow spoof its quantum signature)
Here's a snip from the original article.
Malik and co have tested their idea by bouncing photons off an aeroplane-shaped target and measuring the polarisation error rate in the return signal. Without any eavesdropping the system easily imaged the aeroplane.
But when an adversary intercepted the photons and modified them to send back an image of a bird, the interference was easy to spot, say Malik and co.
Thatís an impressive demonstration of the first imaging system that is unjammable thanks to quantum mechanics.
What are your thoughts about it? How would this change the modern battlefield? What would the implications be? How could Russians counter this seemingly 'Godlike' 'radar' / imagining system? Is this the build up for an alien invasion? Time to bring in the cucumber plants? Did the researchers come up with this idea after tasting the Nyan-Cat rainbow? ;) Go ahead and discuss!

PS! Here is an added image from a Russian news post of it [link to img.lenta.ru] seems they used a B-2 Stealth Bomber as their test subject.
If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and aeroplanes.
