hey Miggy... keep your chin up. lot's of us "olders' are going thru the same thing.

any guy would be LUCKY to have you. you are kind, generous, giving, sensitive and a child of God.

i'm in mid forties now. people say i don't look a day over 35, but when i look in the mirror i don't see it, lol. i'm italian-american, so i will probably look like the ragu lady when i get older, haha. anyway...

lost my husband two years ago. sometime being without my soulmate is excruciatingly painful. and, to top it off, i can't find the energy or drive to start again with somebody new. i don't mind going out for a couple cold ones or hearing a live band, but i'm not much of a big drinker and don't think i am interested in sitting in the bar looking like some aging desperate widow and launching a relationship from that arena. no way!!

i think a good place to start might be singles ministries in a local church, or maybe a speed dating for those of us that ain't 22 anymore.

but, the best thing you can do is to remember that you are a bride of Christ, and when you are ready for a friendship with a man, ask your Father in Heaven to provide His best choice for you.

then spend your time waiting for him to come along.

the self-esteem piece...
that is always a challenge.
focus on the strengths, appreciate the weaknesses, and tell yourself all day that God loves you more than you can comprehend.
