If you think this is the DOOM we speak of than you are greatly mistaken.

When a parent chooses to send their child to public school they also choose to rely on others to keep their child safe, which is a proven mistake. If something does set off global chaos there will be an opportunity to defend one's self and one's family, unlike a POS showing up at your child's school and reeking havoc. My wife and I chose home schooling for this exact reason, we choose to be in control of our children's surrounding as much as possible and see more bad than good in the public school system we now have.

On another note; I don't see why folks who are so anti-DOOM haunt sites like this, its kind of like cooking a meal every night that you hate.

Don't exaggerate. This is tragic but far from being doom. Doom involves the whole planet in a life or death situation, not one school on the east coast. Get real and get some control over your silly self.

If you look at some replies...it seems they are not upset with being called doomers or that something actually happened....but they are saying this doom wasn't big enough for them...

This tragedy and the way it is being responded to on this site have sickened me.

This isnt doom... this is murder... doom is earth changes or spiritual transcendence in my opinion...

You think this is doom? Why dont you go spend one day in a middle eastern country we are occupying... they slaughter hundreds of kids a day over there...

It makes me sick. It's times like these that bring out people's true character, and I have to say that I have been truly disgusted by more people on GLP than I could have ever imagined.

This is a terrible, horrible, awful, very bad incident. My heart breaks for those poor kids and their families and friends...I'm crying as I type this...can't even begin to imagine their pain and fear right now...

This tragedy has affected the entire globe. It's not just something that's happened on the east coast, it's affected us all. I had a talk to my kids today about being aware of their surroundings, etc...They too have been affected by this...Our school made a "One Call Now" to all the families in our district trying to assure us that they try to keep our kids safe and sent their prayers out to all families because of this horrendous tragedy in Connecticut...

This is not the "doom" any of us have hoped for...we are doomtards, yes, but not this...this is sooo tragic...I think most of us hope for the end to come, but we don't think about the real consequences of real doom...you know? Most preppers live in this imaginary end of the world fantasy, that somehow doom will occur, and they'll be bugged out in the woods surviving or something and they won't lose all the people they love...they imagine some unreal scene in their heads, not actual doom...Doom, real doom, affects people...

Anyhow...don't let the assholes get to you. Love to you and yours!
