Sorry I can't agree with this. I wouldn't home school my kiddies. They need to be around kids their own age and be able to play and have fun and make friends.
I find home schooled children a little withdrawn, shy & too sheltered.

If a parent is a good parent, they will include their kids in activities outside of school where they can be socialized in a more controlled manner. Karate, dance, drama at the local community theater, art classes at the library, storytime group at the library, girl scouts, boy scouts, and so much more. Kids go to public school and are so caught up with the social aspects that they don't learn a thing other than a whole lot about drugs, sex, bullying, etc. You have a good point there. I still think that children benefit from going to school, bullying is a big worry to me, and if it were to happen I would take my son out of school. I went to a public school and although a lot of my friends were into drugs I stayed right away from it because I was shown at a young age what it can do to you, and if you teach your kids they will be able to say no too.
