Eben is the neurosurgeon that died and had an experience, that i believe to be authentic and very detailed and very very interesting. Quoting: Salt the one thing the neurosurgeon came away with that i found compelling was that prior to his experience he believed that all NDEs boiled down to some brain experience. He believed that consciousness could not happen without a functioning brain. Now, after his experience, he believes that we are conscious IN SPITE of our brain, and that the brain is a filter that, as we continue to grow older, filters more and more of our true nature away, and keeps us blind and stuck in this reality, disconnected from everyone and every thing. profound. the brain is the filter that disconnects us from the God experience. consciousness is our spirit, which is eternal and pure and divine. our brain is simple a carnal/fleshly human organ which is more of a hindrance than a help. ***side note: it was clear that oprah had a rough time listening to eben's experience. she remained professional but you could see her and her cult-ass witchy self struggling with the details of his God experience.*** if anyone can find a video of the entire interview, plz let me know. idiot Too bad for you Mr or Mrs BS Flag. It's true. I'm on here very late most nights. They're like cockroaches. And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it. Stand still in your mind to calm the waters of your mind and then it shall find you, so you can ride those waves together! your true self lies somewhere between your heart and your consciousness. It is called the heart consciousness, which is the creator, which is you! The heart create the emotions and our mind evoke its purpose, from which we dream the life we live in order to imagine the nature of reality and finally remember love! The highest Purpose of our mind is the ability to Forget! Go on and Forgive yourself! There is no love in truth but there is truth in love! Be authentic, nobody else can do it for you! |

A very material difference [exists] between the body and the spirit; the body is supposed to be organized matter, and the spirit, by many, is thought to be immaterial, without substance. With this latter statement we should beg leave to differ, and state the spirit is a substance; that it is material, but that it is more pure, elastic and refined matter than the body; that it existed before the body, can exist in the body; and will exist separate from the body, when the body will be mouldering in the dust; and will in the resurrection, be again united with it. - [link to www.lightplanet.com] |

Nice post Salt. NDE is of course one view of the HereAfter, anther maybe even better view is via Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy, (LBL) a life regression through hypnosis. This kind of experience might be better in that it lasts for several "real" hours and the episode is structured. Most NDE are physically only a few moments and most, by their own stories of their experience, barely touch the tip of the iceberg. Also, NDE & LBL-Hypnotherapy have similarities, except NDE are extremely brief. There is one BIG difference though, of the thousands upon thousands of LBL-Hypnotherapy sessions, not a single one has ever revealed "demons & Hell!" The few that did have such overtones, upon further inspection (a positive aspect of LBL over NDE, because of more time) realized that the situation was a "prank" by their fellow soul-companions or a teaching device utilized by one's guide to make a strong point. NDE with Hell scenarios should be viewed with suspicion. There may be an agenda at play or perhaps because of the briefness of the experience, the person is "filling in the blanks" by way of their own indoctrination/dogmas, etc. (like my Dad did.) I make such a strong point of the impossibility of the Hell-syndrome because under professional sessions it never comes up-ever! Even most NDE in general lack the Hell component. Most of the time Hell is an issue, it usually involves a religious person who believe it's their duty to validate their religion (ends justify the means sort of thing) or the person is scared silly by the experience and decide to "do the right thing-jump on Jesus' Team!" And of course there's the person that immediately sees the neon signs of opportunity; "book-deal!" On and on and so forth and so on.... Point being, the Hell issue is a sticky and questionable one involving NDE'ers. But, with LBL-Hypnotherapy, the sessions are pretty much consistent. Basically, they all follow roughly the same pattern-even most of the terminology/definitions are the same. Point being; such repeated consistency validates the integrity of the session. And, again-there's no Hell, etc. But, don't take my word, read the books for yourself-better yet, have a session (usually between $300-$500./4-hrs.) and prove it to yourself (beyond a shadow of doubt.) NDE leave too much to chance & guess. LBL-Hypnotherapy, on the other hand, are designed to be efficient and effective in such endeavors, leaving nothing to chance. My roundabout point is this: before you put too much stock/worry into something like Hell, maybe it would behoove you to explore other, more credible avenues like LBL-Hypnotherapy. Dr. Michael Newton is the real-deal. He has pioneered this field of LBL-Therapy and done so scientifically- leaving nothing to chance. Check him out yourself. His books, most especially: "Journey of Souls," & "Destiny of Souls," [link to www.amazon.com] [link to www.amazon.com] will change your life-they did mine. My main problem with Eben's conclusion, is he makes sweeping generalizations based on his personal NDE account, instead of examining multiple NDEs, and multiple other factors, and then drawing a conclusion. |

The ancient Egyptians rendered the human body to certain sacred proportions excluding the cranium. They saw the human form as complete without a brain - implying that the brain only exists temporarily in this material world as an interface. |

I respect these experiences, but I don't like the religious spin. In a truly transcendental experience, you would not be experiencing anything that is relevant to humanity, such as Heaven/Hell. The Tibetan Book of the Dead states that the spirit can remain in the center of the body for days after clinical death, and that any "visions" or "experiences" you have are just reflections of your own thought vibrations. In other words, when you have these out of body experiences, you are creating your own heaven and hell, unconsciously. It's an illusion. In a truly "God Head" experience, you would not have any thoughts or experiences, but it's a purely emotional feeling of love and One. Heaven and Hell exist for you if your subconscious believes they do. That is all. |

I remember living at the bank of the mighty river. It was a simple life, but it was very healthy and happy and one does not much mind anything when one is well. There were clouds above in the sky, so beautiful, so bright, so soft. There were lakes and mountains. I had a house. Never shall I forget the utter loneliness of the prospect and the feeling of unity when I was visited by my friends. Everybody where there. I have seen my grandgrandgrand kids there and they told me how good my life would be here after I get some rest and get back to help them to be. I remember music that was always playing there when I wanted to hear it. It is still with me. All I got to do is listen. I remember the vastness of love that I felt when I was looking do the innumerable islands of the mountain tops over the clouds and the bright light shining on them and nursing my mind. Then one day I felt that I am ready to get back. Everything went spinning again and I have opened my eyes here. |
