Remember when SNES released Mortal Kombat and it had no blood?  Ironically there was still the same spine ripping and such! That surprised me. The same thing happened with Street Fighter on the SNES as well. They replaced the red blood and orange vomit with white sweat and green snot, respectively. That was at the behest of Nintendo since they. They wanted to retain their family image while still reaping a gazillion dollars from the products. Ah, yes. I remember now! I miss the 90's. I also remember when Warcraft II came out, I couldn't buy it without an adult because it had "gore".
