Reporting the schizophrenia story in India was really eye-opening. One thing that I didn't quite manage to get to in the series was the fact that there seems to be so little fear of patients with schizophrenia in India, as opposed to the United States, where the culture seems regularly suggests that people experiencing delusions/hallucinations are dangerous. I just didn't get the notion in India that patients with schizophrenia are out of control and dangerous -- and I suspect this is an important reason patients seem more integrated into Indian society, especially in rural areas. There is certainly far less stigma associated with serious mental illness in India. When I asked patients for permission to sit in on their conversations with doctors, most looked at me as if they didn't know what I was talking about.

What is happening to us is because of deliberate social engineering. Mental illness and disease are occurring because we feel helpless to stop what is happening in America. All the old foundations are being torn away and the family unit is slowly being dissolved.

It is long past the time to ban drug advertisements.

seriously though. the land of the free has a lot of ups and downs due to its incredible positive or negative potentials. such high levels of interaction through people on all ends of the spectrum unlike any other place on earth due to being a melting pot & the spectrum of knowledge held + freedoms practiced here.

such interactions are obviously stressful on the human psyche as it requires more computing & acceptance than any time in the past (that we know of).

we need to get off the synthetic drugs and onto natural medicines. cannabis will be the first, then there will be many other whole plants that will be widely accepted (once again) as effective medicines. hopefully the ancient medicine market picks up before all the neurons become loners and cause a complete breakdown of the system.

hmm.. maybe i can make bath salts into a pharmaceutical then advertise it for sale... seriously though. most pharmaceuticals are relatively unknown substances yet businesses are allowed to use mind controlling methods to market these unknown substances for human consumption. why don't we leave the advice for the doctors and the shamans to dispense? why is it so important to our growth as an economy that we need to allow these peddlers to convince people that their brand/drug is needed or is the best available? if people are not able to prescribe themselves, why do they need to see an advertisement for something that they most likely do not need nor could get it legally without a doctor? are doctors nothing but drug pushers who will prescribe anything that a patient asks them for? it would seem so. talk to your doctor today! use that insurance plan for what its worth. it doesn't mean you have to take the drugs, but it is interesting to see how corrupt the medical system is....haha..na haha... google oxycontin express

you are right though about the age group. although we may be dealing more directly with reality than the comfort veils our parents are still blindly basking in from the american dream & we are #1 hype. it is easier to get a young person to acknowledge truth than an old person.

Yes, between the chemicals they put in what we drink, eat, even use to wash ourselves and the air. Then there's also what the animals on farms eat.. Then there's the stress, overworking, and people actually waking up to what the hell is really going on with the world but the sheeple and MSM think they're bat-shit crazy.

They take the medication thinking that it'll help but the thing is it doesn't not really. Maybe for a few but just think of the chemicals in the medication and what it really is doing to the body.

I used to take zoloft then had to switch over to prozac for my depression. Neither worked and prozac seemed to make it worse. The thing with anti-depressants and similar mental medication is that they'll work if you let them or so they say. I've stopped taking them and all medication a long time ago except for maybe my seasonal allergies.


All they do really is to keep you docile, asleep, dumbed down and hurt you more in the long run.

I have to add that buy one Whopper and get the other for $.55. One is bad enough...but I was too weak and got the other one too. It is a plot!

According to a Wall Street Journal article about a year ago, 30% of today's teens are taking at LEAST one - it could be more than one - prescription drug LONG TERM.

Those teens are doomed if they stay on that track.

They will be like today's senior citizens by the time they are 35.

They'll have arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, Alzheimer's!!, cancer, depression, etc.

Plus, with all the smart phones, a good number will have brain tumors by the time they hit 30 or 35.

I always assumed the other 50% don't have medical or prescription coverage. That was the reason behind the push to forcing everyone onto coverage: so that they would then have a means to end up medicated as well.

.... and the other 50% have already crossed over.
