To begin, let me state that I believe in God. Many of us do not but for the sake of argument let's say that he is real. Let's carry that a bit further and say that Heaven is real and that it truly is the most wondrous place one could imagine. There is no evil there; only good. There is no pain but instead an abundance of happiness and joy only and pleasures your human senses could not even begin to comprehend. Let's just pose a hypothetical for this purpose and assume all of the above to be true. Now, I am going to ask you a question. Do you think they were better off here on this fallen planet? Where do you think they would rather be if the above hypothetical were true?

My point is this: From our perspective this is a horrible, heart-wrenching atrocity committed by an evil or disturbed inividual (take your pick)that snuffed out the lives of many very young children who will never have a chance to live out their lives. That is all we see. We see only the bad, not the good that the hypothetical scenario shows which is ultimately better than anything this world could ever offer. We don't see this. God does. God could have prevented this. God could have prevented the holocaust. God could have prevented a baby from being born from cancer. So why doesn't God put a stop to all this?

Truthfully, this is a difficult question to answer and "It was God's will", the biggest cop-out excuse that any christian will offer when posed with these hard questions, is not an acceptable answer. It is probably the most common but it is also the most illegitimate response one could offer. I can tell you with 100% certainty that it was not God's will that a gunman mow down 20 or more innocent children but it happened. Our Father in heaven did not will this to happen. He did not want it to happen but yes, he allowed it to happen. He is not powerless to stop it. He will stop it. He will stop it when he sends his son Yeshua back to this earth to rule with a rod of iron and bring peace and prosperity to our planet. Why the long wait? Honestly, I don't know but if you are still living when he arrives within the next 6 years, you may get a chance to ask him. Until then, find solace in the fact that those children, along with the countless others that haved passed before them and those still to follow, are in a place of unimaginable beauty embraced in the very arms of love itself.

When that happens, it opens the door for the true author of evil, satan, to do as he pleases through demon possessed psychopaths he has under his control. What do you have to do to prevent "birthing a sinner"? I really want to know the answer to this please. Because according to the Christian religion I am familiar with, ALL babies are born with original sin. That is why we baptize them. So all babies born are sinners.

A couple things. You have no idea when Jesus is coming back and whether or not it will be within the next 6 years, no man knows when that will be. Secondly, those kids aren't in heaven right now. They are dead, and will be resting in their graves til Jesus comes. People don't go to heaven or hell at death, the Bible says the "sleep" until the resurrection of life or the resurrection of damnation. With that said, there is no comprehension of time in the grave, so the next thing they see will be Jesus coming to get them. The Bible says COMFORT one another with those words. They are resting and in the twinkling of an eye, the next thing they see will be Jesus when they are resurrected at His coming.

Nope, sorry you are wrong. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Remember Lazarus and the rich man, the rich man was in hell, Lazarus was being comforted in Abraham's bosom.

The God you refer to is Satan. Satan is literally the God of this world. He was a murderer and a deceiver from the beginning. Do you really think that the loving Father that Jesus refers to is the same "god" of the old testament? The same god that wrote the 10 Commandments? What is the first commandment? "Thou shalt have no other gods before me for I am a jealous and vengeful god." That has Satan written all over it. Do you really think the creator of the universeand everything in it would give a rat's ass if we chose to worship him or not?

Satan said "I will be like the most high god" not "I will be the most high God" He couldn't be god over the heavenly host (Angels - other created beings and no, angels do not wear flowing gowns, and play harps. He had no chance in hell of over-taking an all-powerful force so he made lesser-beings to worship him; us. He was cast out of heaven for this but he is still the ruler of this world and will be until he is imprisoned for a thousand years upon the return of Jesus Christ after which he will be let loose for a while to see if he has learned his lesson. He won't of course which will ultimately lead to his destruction in the lake of fire. The prodigal son that would not return. God loves Satan that much. That is why he has not been dealt with from the onset.

God is not a liar. He said evil would increase to levels seen when He wiped out humanity with the flood. It is prophecized in the bible, and therefore it has to happen.

If he intervened it would never come to full completion. Sad yes, but a sign of mankind's turn to evil.

Actually, I do know that Jesus is coming back in less than 6 years. Or to be more to the point, he has to else he is a liar and definitely no son of God. There are very clear time-lines and indicators. Specifically the Parable of The Fig Tree. "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."

Any so-called bible expert worth his/her salt knows this is referring to Israel and her rebirth as a nation in 1948. In Hebrew customs, a boy of 19 was considered "yet tender". Not yet a man but not a boy. When applied to the above parable, it reads like this.: " When you see Israel shoot forth leaves (19 years after being reborn in 1948 Israel captures Jerusalem, takes over Gaza, West Bank, etc...) you will know that the return of Christ is close at hand. The generation to see this shall not pass until all the prophecies are fulfilled culminating in the 2nd Coming. There are several numbers used for generations in the Bible: 40 years, 54 years & 70 years. Seeing how there has been no second coming 40 or 54 years after Israel was reborn as a nation, the only option left is 70 years. 1948 + 70 years = 2018. Now I'm no mathematical genius but I would say that would be less than 6 years from now. Coincidentally enough, the last of that generation to remain alive is former Israeli Prime-minister Ariel Sharon and he just happens to have been in a coma since 2006. Is that a coincidence?

Humans are quite inventive in their excuses and in creating a god in their own image. And then when this created-god falls short of their created expectations, then we get words like those of Epicurus.
