Almost as inventive as the loving God of the bible and the concept of free will. Regardless of whether or not people have free-will, God is supposed to already know everything before and after it happens. I believe this constitutes for his omniscience? But if that's true, He knew this kid (as well as all the other psychos) was going to commit mass murder. And, being that God is the creator of all life, He not only knew this but he created him anyway.

Religion and its fundamentalists do not make sense. In fact, if anything is an excuse, it is religion itself, because it takes the burden off of everyone's own life and allows them to look elsewhere from their own responsibilities.

Were animals evil too? Did they deserve to die. All flesh was corrupt except for Noah and his sons. Noah's DNA was pure. We were altered. The sons of god mated with women, producing the Nephilim. They probably weren't myth at all but remnants of past history. That is why there was a great flood. After the flood, God promised not to do it again. God gave us an instruction book for LIFE on this planet. He wanted us to have LIFE and have it ABUNDANTLY. He wanted us to be FRUITFUL and MULTIPLY. Those were the plans.
BUT SATAN/LUCIFER screwed it up. The bible clearly states that WAR broke out in HEAVEN. Well, the problem with that is that everything that happens in HEAVEN happens HERE (AS ABOVE SO BELOW). You have heard about WAR, right?

While it may not make any sense today, I must believe that everything that happens occurs exactly as it is suppose to happen.

I agree, the death of these children makes no sense to me, but in order to remain sane, I must believe their is a much bigger plan than I am aware of. Does my heart ache for the children that were killed & the families that are trying to cope with their losses? Most assuredly, but believing in a power greater than myself & trusting that there is a plan, does help to comfort me.

Sandy Hook certainly is a tragedy, but we must remember that tragedies happen everyday. Miracles happen everyday too. I must keep a sense of perspective. 26 people died today in Sandy Hook, but many more died elsewhere around our world today. All of those that died today will be mourned, they were all loved by someone.

How many people found out they were cured of cancer today? How many children were born to loving parents today? How many people averted a tragedy today by some simple action or lack of action? We may never know. Life is not a promise, it is a gift.

Is there proof of a loving God? All I can say is that my life was good today. I shared time with friends & family. I laughed, I listened & I really heard what they were saying. I smiled at &/or hugged at least 40 people today & it made me feel wonderful. I made a special effort to make a friend feel important on her birthday. I believe that "yes" there is a loving God in my life, but I do invite God into my life. I appreciate the good & I accept the bad. I rarely attend any church, God is everywhere.

At 10 I experienced a NDE. Yes, I became aware of a loving God. Death is not painful, it is not scarey, it is not traumatic. We all die. While here in this life, we must look around, pay attention & appreciate those placed into our lives. They are all there for a purpose. We are here to learn. Am I angry that this tragedy happened? Yes, but I accept that there is nothing I can do to change what is past. The present is all I have. I try to make the most of right here, right now.

Look & you will see. Listen & you will hear. Believe & you will know peace & love.
