You say "guns don't kill people, people kill people" but guns are a dangerous tool when in the wrong hands. You take away guns, you take away that power that insane murderers have. Every man and his dog own a firearm in the US and is it really necessary? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29850873 Switzerland issues guns to their adults citizens and trains them how to use them. Switzerland's gun-related crime rate is among the lowest in the world. Today's killing did not take place at a shooting range or in a police station. Why might that be? The worst school killing in the US was done by explosives. Almost anything can be a dangerous tool in the wrong hands. Hell, hands themselves can be a dangerous tool; would you like to ban those? Guns aren't the problem; having GUN-FREE ZONES is the problem. |

It IS people who make the choice to pull the trigger. Do you really think that a law banning guns keep them out of the hands of criminals? For your information criminals do not care about laws for shit sake. This guy could have lost it and drove a vehicle into a crowded playground killing as many children-- does that mean vehicles should now be banned as well? By placing blame anywhere other than the offender you are letting that person get away with it. |

My husband has been on many over the past two years. Perfectly normal nice guy before that - lost his nice job and had to get a shit job to get off unemployment. It was long grueling hours and he started using those 8 hour energy drinks. The more he used them the more he got hooked and he literally began abusing them like a drug. I don't want to hear that the stuff in these are all natural vitamins etc. BS! My husband became a totally different person once he went down this path. Now he is diagnosed bi-polar and is on multiple drugs and they do nothing for him. He continues to abuse the energy shots, stops for a while but goes right back to them like a druggie....this coupled with the psychotropic meds is a nightmare that won't end. So yes, I say ban the psychotropic drugs. Go read the adverse events of these anti-psychotic drugs...they can even make you psychotic. |
