Here is my thought..

What if EVERY molecule on the planet is slowed right down.

ALL molecules slow and stop..INCLUDING those of the oceans...

THEn there would be no actual "Stopping" as such as the gravity feild acts on ALL the molecules of the planet at ONCE...thus eliminating temporarily the effects..or MOST of the effects of inertia.

Then as the earth emerges from this gravatic "Vice"..its released and spins the other way..being in the opposite pole of the galactic equator.



The gravtaic plane is a compressed zone of dense gravity.

As we know time SLOWS DOWN in dense gravity wells..thus the sense of time speeding up..or seeming to..but actually slowing DOWN to a point of NO TIME..due to the intense gravity plane.

Now this gravity plane GRIPS the earth like a vice..every molecule of it..bringing the entire thing to a halt.

AS we head deeper into the center of the plane we are being COMPRESSED..like a ballon in a pressure chamber..unsettling the crusts..squeezing them together. Setting of quakes here and there as we are squeezed..but none REALLY catastrophic..as its all squeezed togther..building UP pressure.

THEN..we emerge..and the earth SPRINGS BACK to its normal size..PLUS going the other way..and BANG..all that pent up pressure is released all at once.

THEN..we will see our doomy quakes and weird shit.

Leading up to it..its just pressure building.

Coming OUT..pressure RELEASE.

no, it starts on the 23rd, boy that is gonna screw Santa up.

Consider that if the Earth were to flip 180 degrees on its axis, the surface dwellers would perceive that the Sun would begin rising in their limited concept of what's "West". Yet the direction of angular momentum relative to the Earth core would continue in the same direction it always has through the many pole reversals of the Earth's past.

Luckily, this is not going to happen quite yet. Though this clockwork balancing act is now definately underway. Keep a close eye on the innermost planets, as they dance closer to the fiddler so are more strongly compelled by its tunes.

I think you're failing to account for possibilities outside of the realm of what is standardly expected.
