If required by Federal Law, will the people in the State of Texas turn in guns?

I will give you an example. I do foundation repair in west Texas...tons of rattle snakes. We are working on a house and one of my guys spots a rattler. Well our "Snake Charmer" aka .410 shot gun is not there. We ask the home owner if the have a small caliber gun we can use. She says' I have a 12 gauge, 30.06, AR 15 and a 22.

I go to the local hardware store and buy another 1.

Easy.

Remember, if they can and have rigged the votes for a decade or longer for the US Presidency elections, what makes you think they cannot also fix the vote on the People's ratification of such an amendment.

I think very few would turn in weapons. the right to bear arms is taken seriously in all states by gun owners. I sold my guns years ago..just lost interest. My job required that I practice and qualify all the time and I burned out on going to the range and shooting for pleasure. But I still know plenty of gun hobbyist/hunters and can't imagine any of them complying with a gun ban.

School slaughter triggers push for gun control

"In the wake of the horrific Connecticut kindergarten massacre today, gun-control advocates are taking to Twitter and the media to blame firearms for the murders of 27 people, including 20 children.

“Too soon to speak out about a gun-crazy nation? No, too late,” tweeted “Bowling for Columbine” Director Michael Moore. “At least THIRTY-ONE school shootings since Columbine.”

He also wrote, “The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy.”

CBS News reported that the shooter was found with two handguns: a Glock and a Sig Sauer nine millimeter. Police reportedly located a .223 caliber rifle in his car.
