how long have guns been around? why are all these shootings happening now all of a sudden? something doesnt add up.

i have a weapon but not a firearm, ne way i would like to get a simple handgun just for defensive purposes and would not give it up. i have a right to defend myself and with a gun if i feel it necessary.

Usually I would ignore this type of post but I feel the need to let you know you aren't going to win. If you live by the sword you will die by it. Give your life to the Lord and you will never die. You are right in what you say, except that simply trying to live like Yeshua(Jesus) will not earn you eternal life. God made a plan for us, and if we stick with His plan, we will be given the gift of eternal life freely.

We must acknowledge that Yeshua is our Lord and Savior, that we are sinners and don't have the right to go to a perfect heaven on our own merits. We must understand and believe that Yeshua sacrificed Himself for us, so that our lives and due punishments might be purchased by Him, and ask Yeshua to be the Lord of our hearts and of our lives. And we must confess this belief with our mouths openly. Then we will become connected spiritually to the Kingdom of heaven while still on earth,and we will become Children of God. And God will be our spiritual Father, just as Yeshua is our spiritual Savior. And therefore we will live forever with Yeshua, in this life or the next.

That is the plan of God concerning humans.

Be careful who you correct and what you teach. I agree with what you say and also guarantee you many people will say they believe and say they did many things with the power of the Lord/Yeshua/Jesus...and will be cast out. Faith without actions is useless. I'm not saying we earn our way into the kingdom but we are put right with God by our faith, and our faith has to show by our actions, not what we say. Even the demons believe in one God and tremble with fear.

The plan of God concerning humans cannot be summed up so matter of factly. We should be humble and continually learning this plan correct?

first off i wanna say i am a gun loveing person, but the hard reality is there will be a new AWB (assult weapons ban) and it wont stop the violence, then they will be a all out turn all firearms in or go to prison law. and the reason why people will just turn them in without any trouble is because people have familys and no one is good to the family if there not around and in prison.

Salvation is not as simple as saying that you believe Yeshua is the Son of God. You have to repent of your sins, and believe that Yeshua died for the atonement of your sins, that His sacrifice washes away those sins, and that God has raised Him from the dead. You have to believe and confess with your mouth these things in order to be saved. You have to freely accept His gift of salvation freely given to you by God, wherewith the spirit of God comes to live within your heart to truly become a child of God.

I believe that when you are truly born again that your spirit will follow the urging of the Holy Spirit that now dwells inside you. And you will then do good works. Your works will follow you, and they will proceed you. You will be known by your good works for God. And in that way people will see that your actions follow your heart. They are an open testament to the Light that lives within your heart.

But if someone says they are a believer, but have no good works to show for it, then it is reasonable to be suspicious of the heart of that professed believer.

But it can also be said that actions without faith is worthless. For people will say Lord, I did this for you, and Lord I did that for you, and they will still be cast out despite their works because they had no faith in the saving grace of Yeshua. They had no personal relationship with Christ. If you have no personal relationship with someone, then they will not truly know you.

Why the gov. have to think for the people! Can the people make up their own mind?! For 3 days now the whole country will be brainwashed. You'll wake up Mon. morning and go hand up your guns yourself?!
