Why did they shoot up an elementary school ?

Why not another mall, or movie theater?

Because the adults are paying attention and are more likely to witness details, give testimony and put the pieces together. People have been dissecting the last two shootings and noticing the inconsistencies. Their cover is blown.

So, going after children prevents any (credible) witnesses to the massacre.

So, we do not have some sort of united 'power elite' all on the same page and all working together - but a collection of psychotic and certifiable nutjobs contesting for power with and against one another where there are no rules and anything goes. Let this be a lesson to all of those who say they are all 'one' - as they eat each other alive and take out many caught up in the circles they and their families travel within. Do you think they really care about children or what people will say? Many naively believe that because they have America as their main base of operations, that this means they care about the population of America. They do not. In fact, they hold Americans in more contempt than they do the millions they slaughter everywhere else.

Each and every time we see these mass murders it is one step closer to the guns being taken away from the citizens. Each time the perp has way more equipment then could ever be obtained regularly.
It is because they were supplied. It will not stop. By making it children & completely innocent bystanders (like movie goers) it will sustain the idea that guns are bad.
It will be a big deal when the citizens can no longer have guns.

If there wasn't any Internet or conspiracy theorists, they could've gone for another adult population. But people are waking up.there were so many inconsistencies with the aurora shooting. They needed to keep this one from being pried apart.

The gun issue is a red herring. They know they aren't going to be able to disarm Americans - but they float that out there to keep everyone 'in the game' - 'plugged in' - and not focused on what actually happened, who did it, and why. That this was a 'faction on faction' operation is lost to those not seeing the bigger picture.
