Here here.

Problem is the stalwart father was facing the room of criminals who advocate these programmed, mind controlled Universal soldiers to do the bidding of the political agenda's.

I don't think it has anything to do with what is in our hearts and souls, spiritually. It is a grave act of violence that preys on us like a dirty boot wiping the doormat. Those children may have given up their lives in vain just like every tormented school, mall or theater group.

When we wake the hell up, which I do not believe will happen in this lifetime, and see what dirty deeds are going on to take us so far down that we forget God, nation, our faith, our reason for being here, then we can begin to realize there is a much bigger plan behind all this, and it is not just some deranged character on the loose.

RIP for all those souls.

When students grow up thinking they are bodies just meant to grow up, fuck like bunnies, enter the workfore and make money, and live to consume, it does turn meaningless indeed to not teach about spirit or spirituality..

While I do agree somewhat with this statement, I don't think Abrahamic religions are the answer. Back then in Puritan Christian America religion didn't impede events such as the Witches of Salem to occur. And religion back then was ever pervading.
"White privilege" is the liberal religion's version of Original Sin: you are born guilty, and you carry that burden of guilt all your life, and the only way to escape eternal damnation is for white people confess their sin, to bow, kneel and believe the dogma of the Church of Liberalism, genuflect at its altars, honor its saints, fill the collection plate, and never, ever doubt.

The looks on the faces of all present must have been priceless. I bet a more than a few choked on their coffee. They were expecting a solemn memorial speech from the father of one who lost their lost daughter (how each day they miss them, we'll never forget you, blah blah blah) and instead, got a serious tongue lashing that was honest, to the point and thought provoking.

I'll give this a four star because I'm not religious, but the point I liked was his level headed angle away from gun control as the only solution.

As to what has happened at NewTown, when are they going to do something to protect our teachers, children in schools? It is obvious schools have been targets for years now by evil crazed maniacs.

I think all school personnel need to carry TAZERS, and there should be at least one plain clothed ARMED security guard patrolling disguised as a custodian.

Dammit, this HAS to be done NOW, before anyone else has to die!!!
 Quoting: Pa resident1

Teachers are not trained to use tazers or guns for that matter. I rather have actualy security in the schools. Like you said one armed trained security guard in each public school.

a week at gunsite, some dry practice, and occasional live fire is all that is needed. Let those teachers who want to bear responsibility. do so.

Re: Wow! Columbine Student's Father 12 Years Later
COLUMBINE STUDENT’S FATHER 12 YEARS LATER !!

Guess our national leaders didn’t expect this. On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee. What he said to our national le

aders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.

They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:

“Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

“The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart.

“In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don’t believe that they are responsible for my daughter’s death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel’s murder I would be their strongest opponent

I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy — it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.

Your laws ignore our deepest needs, Your words are empty air. You’ve stripped away our heritage, You’ve outlawed simple prayer. Now gunshots fill our classrooms, And precious children die. You seek for answers everywhere, And ask the question “Why?” You regulate restrictive laws, Through legislative creed. And yet you fail to understand, That God is what we need!

“Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation’s history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine’s tragedy occurs —politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

“As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA — I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone! My daughter’s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!” - Darrell Scott

interesting....11 children massacred in that shooting, and now 22 in the recent shootings.

i hope this man, who is the epitome of bravery, doesn't end up dead for making such comments.

He is right, but loses it when he drifts into god talk. Our spirits are dirty, and our leaders are usually the most guilty of helping destroy our spirits, but we need a new spirituality. One that is more inclusive and not tied to any one time or location. One that is personal to each person who practices it.

People are wrong to run from spirituality, but are also justified rejecting the faiths of Abraham.

Abrahamic religions= the devil took control of the reigns of humanity long ago.

There are some wonderful teachings in the Abrahamaic faiths, but they are far out weighed by the way those religions have converted non-homicidal humans to kill other non-homicidal humans.

Genius? Brilliant? Bravo?

You guys are more easier to rule then I expected... A corrupt country, ruled by lobbies who play YOU like marionettes serves YOU WELL.

Do you even realize no one can kill another person with gun IF guns aren't available, or that is just too complicated to understand?

Military lobbies run YOUR country, folks. That's why guns won't be banned in the USA. NEVER. You think it's your "right" and bla bla bla. But it's NOT. They let you get guns cause they WANT IT TO.

Got it little mouse?

You talk about "watch out for martial law" and "state police!!" and YET you fail to understand you're little mouses in a big cat bedroom.

Same lobbies that fuck up your country along with corrupt politics and bankers, are the same ones that create the delusional idea you live in a awesome country.

You're the same fucked up youth/seniors who believe USA is da best!!! and Iran is evil. Same for Irak, and Libya... You don't get it, you're all played to serve the military lobbies.

Go to war - we're the best! We're defending OUR country. Buy guys!! It's YOUR right!

Dumbfucks.

One day you'll all have the chance to visit Finland, or Denmark and you'll understand 90% of what is wrong with your fucked up US of A.

EX land of the free, NOW land of the dumbs and lobbies.

Re: Wow! Columbine Student's Father 12 Years Later
Agreed, we can't blame tools or point fingers. I do believe being human and having the means to kill will always warrant us to be careful and protect our own. I think giving every teacher a gun is sort of a horrible idea, though. They're teachers, not mercenaries. Maybe giving schools more security with trained professionals would be better, but it's sad to think we've come to this.

Looking at forums like this with all the cynicism, argument, and attacks on each other over the web even. I think as a society we all need a big attitude adjustment or at least a better understanding of each other despite our interpretations. Some of us are continually lying in judgment, forgetting we too are human and are products of our impulses and mistakes. The fact of the matter is we don't treat each other right in this world, not a single person in this world is divine or perfect with a human mind. Heavy emotions and an unstable mind can drive us to do many regrettable things. Let us forgive ourselves and others and hope things improve. Let us open our eyes and ears to each other as we pass one another on the street. Let us not be afraid to connect and find our hearts. If we practice connecting with others and dispelling their loneliness, there will be less hatred and more reverence for life itself.

This sort of suicidal ways can be helped I believe. But not by a law or a tribunal; not by ideologies or old rusty religions which continually limit our senses and disconnect us from each other in the way of dividing doctrine. We must find our own interpretation and remember to start and end every sentence, thought, and process with love in mind - the ultimate truth. It is only then we are free, it is only then we can understand others and show them an alternative to their path with our own.

I wish there was a simple answer to this and every other atrocity like this in the world. The best I can think is love. Somehow we must love each other to death, instead of shoot each other to death...

Re: Wow! Columbine Student's Father 12 Years Later
Freedom is un-popular

probably because maintaining it is not painless; or blood-less. The "state" is not in the business of producing free individuals; that would be bad for business; so-called "parents" are not producing well-rounded, responsible individuals capable of taking on the life-long responsibility that comes with being a free individual. The state has slowly, most assuredly, usurped parental authority; the state has cooercively gained the consent of the governed to rule. Unless one has been home-schooled, it is likely the state that has "educated" and "schooled" the individual.

The so-called "educated" class is really an "indoctrinated" class, incapable of resisting the life-long onslaught of "mainstream" (state-controlled) conditioning. The simple act of carrying a "license" signifies one's acquiessence, one's position of submission. The attenuation of our individual liberties is in direct correlation to the un-processed, reflexive need to seek permission from an accepted authority "figure" for every single noteworthy activity. Every piece of street signage that dictates a specified speed or activity drives home the answer to: who is the daddy?

The practices of freedom are few and far between in this state-sponsored dictatorship, and most of those practices have been labeled by the US GOVT as "terrorist" activities. Yeah, that's right. Freedom is terrorism (under state-doctrine).

Free individuals don't need a license to travel. They don't need a license to do business. Or to fish. Or to own a gun. Name a licensed activity and free individuals don't need one. Free individuals don't accept that the state can withdraw funds from one's pay. Or charge taxes. Why?

Because truly free individuals are hyper-aware of the personal responsibilities that come with maintaining one's human rights. Most people, today, have become so conditioned by the state-sponsored cultural program that has fathered them, they are literally incapable of discerning between what represents freedom and what represents tyranny.

Seriously! I'm not even a religious person and I can't believe they took prayer out of school. What harm is there in having a silent prayer to start the day? It isn't like you HAVE to participate. It isn't like they are forcing religion on anyone. I think taking prayer out of school has been the biggest fuck up this country has made; right next to taking away the right of the parent to discipline their own child.

Morality should not be legislated - it is the responsibility of the family first, then the community and the church! I say, put prayer back in school! No one is saying which "god' one has to pray to silently. Shit! They even open each new Congressional session with a fucking prayer!
