As long as kids are taught as a fact that they are animals (thanks to the THEORY of evolution) they will have no moral foundation that used to be provided by the bible and the killings will continue or escalate even using sharp sticks if they have to. It's not about guns.

Blaming guns on the recent killings is like blaming spoons for Rosie O'Donnell being fat.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Re: Wow! Columbine Student's Father 12 Years Later
COLUMBINE STUDENT’S FATHER 12 YEARS LATER !!

Guess our national leaders didn’t expect this. On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee. What he said to our national le

aders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.

They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:

“Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

“The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart.

“In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don’t believe that they are responsible for my daughter’s death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel’s murder I would be their strongest opponent

I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy — it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.

Your laws ignore our deepest needs, Your words are empty air. You’ve stripped away our heritage, You’ve outlawed simple prayer. Now gunshots fill our classrooms, And precious children die. You seek for answers everywhere, And ask the question “Why?” You regulate restrictive laws, Through legislative creed. And yet you fail to understand, That God is what we need!

“Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation’s history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine’s tragedy occurs —politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

“As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA — I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone! My daughter’s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!” - Darrell Scott

Saundra, Wow how deep. If we had no cars, people would not get hurt and or killed with them. If we did not have gravity, it would not hurt when we fell down. Way to look at the issue. i bet you will grow up to have children and not have a clue how that happened. Blame the system that does not enforce the laws that are in place. As far as I know, Federal law prohibits many drugs, yet we still have a large problem, theft is a big problem, yet it is still here. We need to fix the morals of people. Fix the concept of family. Hold people accountable for their actions. In short, our value sysems is not right. We need to have people be accountable for their actions, we all do. don't turn and say this is not my problem it is all of our problems. Drugs would not be a problem if we did not tolorate them. Theft, no problem is everyone had that value and would hold people close to them accountable.

everything that is happening is the direct result of killing innocent children by abortion. that is the ultimate denial of the Creator's existence and His authority over what He has made. killing children before birth breaks all His commandments. the dates, names, places and events all prove this to be true but we are unwilling to acknowledge it and stop the killing. that is what is taking place. great evil is taking place and we are unwilling to protect the innocent which has brought us to this point.

Re: Wow! Columbine Student's Father 12 Years Later
"A principal source of errors and injustice are false ideas of utility. For example: that legislator has false ideas of utility who considers particular more than general conveniencies, who had rather command the sentiments of mankind than excite them, who dares say to reason, 'Be thou a slave;' who would sacrifice a thousand real advantages to the fear of an imaginary or trifling inconvenience; who would deprive men of the use of fire for fear of their being burnt, and of water for fear of their being drowned; and who knows of no means of preventing evil but by destroying it.

The laws of this nature are those which forbid to wear arms, disarming those only who are not disposed to commit the crime which the laws mean to prevent. Can it be supposed, that those who have the courage to violate the most sacred laws of humanity, and the most important of the code, will respect the less considerable and arbitrary injunctions, the violation of which is so easy, and of so little comparative importance? Does not the execution of this law deprive the subject of that personal liberty, so dear to mankind and to the wise legislator? and does it not subject the innocent to all the disagreeable circumstances that should only fall on the guilty? It certainly makes the situation of the assaulted worse, and of the assailants better, and rather encourages than prevents murder, as it requires less courage to attack unarmed than armed persons."

it does not matter what is done while the killing of innocent children by abortion continues. everything will work against us because innocent bloodshed brings a curse upon the land and the people. the only answer for what is happening is to stop the killing of children by abortion but it is the last thing we would consider or be willing to do. so it can only get worse. that is just how it is.

it is each state's responsibility to stop the killing of children by abortion in their state. national government has no authority to dictate to states that the innocent must be killed. that is idolatry. by killing them it is child sacrifice to the wicked powers in control and satan worship with bloodshed. states must stop the killing and that is why the destruction that is taking place is across the entire nation with every state suffering the consequences of the wickedness they allow by killing children by abortion in their state. if states will not stand up to protect their innocent then no protection can be expected. disaster after disaster from coast to coast in every form is the result we are experiencing constantly.

The skeletal remians of the previous attempts to defeat Truth coat the surfce of the Earth and the USA is no different than any previous civilization.

Basically reguardless of what is done...the toilet was flushed and the USA along with the rest of the world is swirling the bowl.

There is zero you all can do about it except go insane and die in a fit of agony.

basically what the shooters are doing...going out in a blaze of glory.

Is what the USA is going to do...It's a spectacle.

In the end the USA is being set up to take the fall for it all.

The new world order turns into the old world order and is replaced with the new new world order.

You are all mortals that don't live long enough to see the full cycle play out...

After you cease to exist all that you know is hidden behind the lies written by the winners for the new losers to read and believe are Truth.

You will just stop logging into the universe and will be forgotten.

So enjoy the burning embers of good old days while they last.

Oh fuck all, anyone is allowed at anytime in any school to bow their head and pray, no one is disallowing that. You just can't make anyone listen.

Re: Wow! Columbine Student's Father 12 Years Later
not a single quote; not a single response; not a single agreement with hundreds of new views. and that is why this is happening. we will not cry out for justice for those who cannot speak or protect themselves. and so it continues and thousands of threads with thousands of replies analyzing every aspect of the tragic events with nary a voice speaking the truth on behalf of the innocent who have no voice. we have agreed together to let the destruction continue unabated. it is completely our fault with no one else to blame.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Yeah, you can't tell kids that anymore. Would be wrong to teach them that.
