I'm on Vancomycin. PICC Line going through me.

Vancomycin should have you fixed up in no time flat. It is very effective in getting rid of staph and infections. All you wanna do now, is maintain a positive attitude. Concentrate on the medicine going through your body cleaning you out. Dont give the infection any of your attention.

We also pray that YOUR healing power flows into this young mans body and purges it of all toxins and bad bateria.

Sleep is a healer...go with the medication and know it is helping to quickly heal your body.

Find comfort in the fact u are where u should be. Know that the doctors and nurses are angels gathering around u in a united effort to heal your body, and it will happen.

Get someone to buy and bring in some high grade manuka honey. In works better than most of the hospital grade topical antibiotics, though of course it sounds like you are beyond just a topical treatment. Still the sugar in the honey tends to pull out the bacteria.

Once you're in the hospital the opportunity to use 'home remedies' is off the table.

It's chemicals from this point on for the OP.

It's MRSA.

My mother was infected with MRSA after she broke her leg and it was surgically reset, hospital accepted no blame for it of course. They didn't give her antibiotics, I guess because she signed a DNR form.

Don't sign DNR agreements unless you're ready to die.
