Stayed there for a few nights once. Super cheap rooms, nice quality. Was only like $20-something a night. That's so you'll dump that money into their casino.

Am I surprised someone got shot inside of it? No. Lots of people, lots of tourists. Lots of honeymooners and bickering couples. Angry people who need an escape. That's not to mention drugs, booze, or anything else that might set someone off.

I'd go again.

A "mass shooting" is unlikely in Las Vegas. Most hotels and Casinos have in-house ARMED security. The average retard like Holmes or this Lanza guy wouldn't make it past 5-10 victims before being torn a new asshole in the forehead by ARMED security. Add to that the fact that there are many concealed-carry permit holders in Nevada.
