My friend wants to join the TSA cuz he feels he will be doing his country a favor and he can get back in the Federal GOV payroll...

TSA has nothing to do with our safety. TSA is performing a conditioning process for the next level of the police state. It will be risky out on the highways.....

So how does this mentality tie in with working in the Armed Forces?

The fact that you ask this question tells me you already have reservations about this kind of work. I believe thoughts and prayer are powerful and can effect you. Imagine a hundred people a day, five days a week, thinking negative, awful, nasty thoughts about you for what you do to them all day? Would you feel good at the end of the day? They have to pay so much because of that very reason. I would rather take a job that pays less and keep my integrity.

I completely agree, however read the entire thread. My good buddy wants this TSA job. Tomorrow he will go take a test for it. I tried talking him out of it, just like mormonism, but he thinks it's a great idea. He wants to feed his 3 kids and wife.

That's a tough one...

Man, I hope he reconsiders. I though about the line in the sand. Integrity vs having a good paying job making this country go down the tube.

Sometimes people have to find things out for themselves. I can understand the financial appeal to support his family... Guess he'll have to do what he has to do. How does he feel about the job? Is he 100% ok with the idea?

Let's just say he thinks the U.S. Government Agencies operate for the best interest of the American People.

Oh wow. The gov. is his friend. He sounds like a good guy stuck in a bad job just trying to provide for his family. Even if he could take night classes at a community college to learn a trade would be better than a TSA agent.
