Did I dream about the school shooting or just a coincidence?

Had a very strange dream last night. In short there was a school, kids, then chaos I don't recall exactly why, police come in and start shooting, then a lion comes in through the gates, kids running scared, myself and some kids are climbed up somewhere to be safe from the lion and two cops shoot at us twice for some reason then focus on the lion, at that point the dream becomes super strange where I float up and the environment becomes 2D below and several bombs are dropped I think nuclear, and then I drop back down to 3D and see everything is destroyed.

Very strange dream, turn on the news this morning and hear about a school shooting kinda creepy.

I'm almost sure it's just a coincidence, but thought I'd share in case it symbolizes something.

Anyone have a school themed dream last night?
