I hear ya Op. I have three of me own but every parent I meet in my travels has their head somfar up their ass they can look out their belly button.

I know I do it right. No vaccines. No tv. All organic food. Lots of nature and exercise. My 7 year old reads better than 90% of adults I know. Mom stays home like she should. We do without so she can. Only private schools. Not having cable and a stupid brand new car pays for the school. They're already speaking Latin to themselves while their public school counterparts are tweeking on pharmaceutical crack rock, playing Halo, and talking about being queers when they grow up.

Kids is a vanity project. And what they most like is the fact that the older kid watches out for the younger kid. So it is like a little army. I think they feel they are more " potent" by having some kids. That said, there are people who lead quality lives, who have great experiences and so forth.

I couldn't it is very hard to home school here unless you live remotely you aren't even allowed to do it in major cities.

But I did something different, I schooled them at home as to what public school was about.
I taught them everyday what it actually is.
So they can read between the lines and live inside it, but know what it really is.
