The rest of the world doesn't do it like that and actually doesn't have school massacres every year along with all the rest of the gun related crime.

I know this thread is all about foreigners like me whom look at your situation from the outside and look at the facts and the statistics and come up with the conclusion that well, maybe the US could consider tightening up some of your firearm laws and access to them and it may make the streets and schools of America safer.

But....I know you will all, perhaps out of complete fear of your own society claim that you all need access to unlimited amounts of guns so that you are "safe".....missing the irony completely.

If people insist on this right and insist on the existing laws, then why be surprised, why be sad and why be angry when this time and next time and the time after that, someone shoots up innocent kids at school, the mall or the cinema. It will all just keep repeating.

It is the American way and a pattern and reflection of your culture, laws and personal passions. Own it and be proud of it if you want....but if a lot of us in most of the world choose a different way and have a different perspective like mine, then don't shoot the messenger.

Even so, it's the reason for a lot of anti-gun sentiment in Australia.

Yeah it is strange that so many Australians are anti gun, I don't understand it myself I guess it's because they have been so conditioned through school and the propaganda industry.
