ADVISE

Here is a dilemma someone very close to me is going through...and NO its not me!
Any thoughts on it would be appreciated.

Girl works at family owned company as billing supervisor, The company is has 2 brothers 1 sister and the father. She is dating on and off the youngest bosses son for 1 1/2 years. Family finds out last year, doesn't like it but doesn't say anything.

She is close to the father (owner -boss) who is in a wheelchair..gets him coffee, feeds him lunch, wheels him around. Get along very well.

Bosses son and her break up for 8 months cause he is very wealthy and she is just average, wont bring her to his families house or around his friends

They start dating again last month

She gets pregnant

Tells (boyfriend) bosses son he goes ballistic, wants nothing to do with it, tells her to get rid of it

Girl thinks he doesnt want it because his fears about his family not accepting her

calls her boss to tell him she is pregnant with granchild.

he says he is really sorry and he will call her back. 4 hours later calls her very mean and says
Get rid of the problem or your going to ruin your career, and if you were anyone else you would be out the door. You have 2 days to get back to work.

2 days later goes to the office to speak to the older brother who is operating the company to tell him she is pregnant and his father and brother want her to get a abortion and asks for a 2 weeks medical leave...he refuses and says if she leaves ..leave for good and dont come back...So she leaves.

Could she collect unemployment?
