And approximately 572,000 died of cancer in the US in 2011. The human herd in America is getting culled one way or another.

So?

Look at these numbers; maybe we should just outlaw everything..

Chocking on food 3,000/yr
Slip and Falls 17,000/yr
Medical Errors 195,000/yr
Smoking Related 400,000/yr
Drowning 3,000/yr
Alcohol Related 15,000/yr
Ect..

You are more likely to slip and fall in your home, or be killed by your Dr. than to be killed by a gun.

In 2005, 818 people were shot and killed in Canada.

Lol we set the high score for lowest population to gun deaths.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19040022

In fact, of the 598 homicides reported in Canada in 2011, 35 per cent were stabbing-related, while 27 per cent were shooting-related, Statistics Canada reported Tuesday. Beatings and strangulations accounted for most of the remaining cases.

73% are non-gun related murders.

lol no one wants too talk about Canadians?

We kill the exact same ratio of people here in Canada as in America.

We just have 32 million people instead of 320 million people.

Look out

lol your the fail.

818 people were shot dead in 2005 according too the RCMP's figures.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17324674

even with your number! the U S wins

canada
818 out of 34.278.406

USA
11000 out of 314.167.157

so

canada
per 100.000 people 2,386 were shot

USA
per 100.000 people 3,501 were shot

btw.
Canada has one of the highest rates of gun ownership in the world.
There are almost as many rifles per capita in Canada as in the United States

apparently canada needs stricter gun laws too...

thx for proofing the point for more gun control! tard.

I was proving 3 points.

1. Americans aren't as violent as the media makes them out to be.

2. You don't know shit about this country.

3. For a low population we are very violent. More violent then Europe.

As for Canadian gun control we scrapped the gun registry a little while back.

You only need to register handguns or modified assault rifles.

Switzerland and Canada are also on that infographic you pulled from for this thread.

Sweden, Switzerland, and Canada have 1 gun for every 3 people - yet a miniscule amount of the gun violence.

Perhaps it is Americans that are the problem, not guns?

I'd assume you've heard about planned population reduction. This is, after all, a conspiracy forum.

Re: Last year nearly 11,000 people died in America due to Handguns
You sheeple don't get it.. Out here in the real world we have coyote's that eat baby calves.. Just like we have sick people on the streets of America.

If they take all the guns away,, do you truly feel that all the gangs,, who have stolen guns with no paper work will turn there's in? Don't think so..

What you don't hear from our govt controlled news is about the 320,000 people a year who did not get killed or hurt as they had a gun to even the odds or chase the bad person away with..

Any time I have been in a bad spot,, once the bad guy could see the odds were even that he might die as well as me,, they ran..

China has had 100s of school age kids cut up by some sicko with a knife.. So the problem is world wide,, just a different tool to do damage..

Truth is,, if all the teachers at that school were trained and could use and carry a gun,, chances are that fellow would have not even went there..

Where ever you see the sign of a gun with a red line across it,, just tells the sick people a safe place to kill..

This is really lame add up all the other objects used for murder. It ain't low. If guns weren't around something else would be used.

Not to mention over half were suicides.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2451780

Exactly!! Lets take that into account these statistics should not include suicides.
If someone wants to kill themselves or murder someone they will do it, gun or no gun.

A call for Gun Control, when emotions are as high as they are right now is wrong. Just because some SOB did this terrible thing. Those of us that own and use Firearms responsibly should not beheld accountable. He should wait for cooler heads to prevail, and greve along with the families that lost love ones. In the mean time one should contemplate this link.
