No... people died when sinful, violent people decide to take a life. Guns do not have a will. People wanting to cause harm to others will always find away, but our guns in the U.S. are out protection.
If teachers had guns, the man would have been stopped immediately, because he would not have even gone to the school.
If people widely carried their guns and it was not challenged constantly, more people would think twice before committing gun crime, knowing that they are already surrounded.

I pity the ignorant countries that gave away what they never deserved.
