how many fighter jets (military is redundant) are there in the USA?

But not 2,700 - well certainly not 2,700 that could be flown again. Hundreds were kept in good condition with all their intakes covered and canopies sprayed white to protect them from the sun and dust, but many were partly cannibalised for parts. This story is a hunk of poo. I know. But keep this in mind;> Reality can be the tip of the iceberg called irrationality where one comes up gasping for air, before diving back into the deep waters of the unreal.
