Mainstream media, when it isn't being used to deliberately mislead, is nearly always wrong as far as facts go. Having worked in media myself and been involved in several stories, I know the accuracy rate is somewhere in the low teens (80%+ BS [from lazy and hearsay reporting] in any given story). When there's so much spin added to this dismal percentage of inaccuracy, it's a wonder that any real facts survive the reporting of them.

They said the same about Colorado but nothing ever came of it(rumors about the bank as well but those were never confirmed). Disarming the people is an illogical goal. Why would the government want to disarm the people? Not only would retrieving and storing the weapons be a logistical nightmare, if not impossibility, the gun market is a sizable source of revenue inside of the country.
Think about it, at this point a revolution would be irrelevant in concern of gun laws as the guns hidden away would remain so(unless you believe that the Government would search 400 millions residences). The Government is not stupid they fully know that the majority of the populace would be against it. It would take a much larger event than this for that to be passed anyway so why didn't they stage a grand event and kill an entire school of kids?
9/11 had a clear goal with immediate consequences(put into action instantaneously), there was no build up or string of crimes to win the public.

Why was he mentally incapable? Reports are saying he was an honor student. Like I said, he didn't pull off anything spectacular, it was probably quite simple. He was fucking demented, why is that so hard for you people to understand???!! There are sick fucks out there, and he clearly was one of them. This is why we never should have closed all of the asylums. Some people cannot be treated and should not walk among us.

There are a number of things that may come into play. First, we can assume he was vaccinated as a baby/child, something which can affect the brain/neurological system.

Second, despite the claims that he was intelligent, his brother made a statement about Adam being "autistic", which strengthens the idea that vaccines could have played at least a partial role.

Third, children with autism, ADHD, etc. are viewed as "different", sometimes ridiculed and punished because of their problems, even by some school personnel. (I went through this with one of my kids) This cultivates feelings of animosity towards schools as well as poor self worth.

Fourth, we haven't heard yet whether this boy had been under any kind of medical or psychological treatment in the past so don't know if he has been or was currently medicated, but I'm guessing he has been.

Fifth, people with these kinds of disorders often self-medicate with alcohol or other drugs so it is not beyond the realm of possibility that a 20 year old male had been using something to numb his emotional pain.

Sixth, we know that the MK Ultra program was/is real and that he would be a prime candidate for helping to further their agendas. We will probably never get proof showing that he was influenced by them, but it IS a possibility.

Seventh, violent movies and video games. Need I say more about that?

I suspect that many of the mass shooters have been influenced by some, if not all, of the above.

If this young man was as high functioning as they are saying, I don't think medication was a factor. It's possible that he wasn't on medication at all.
I would have never given an SSI to a well adjusted child with HFA.

Not true. People always snap for a reason, but in any case it doesn't exponentially improve their shot. Also, simply snapping doesn't explain the children being targeted.

As for disarming the US public -- this may well be the straw that breaks that particular camel's back. Certainly, rather than to seek a motive on the part of the killer, the MSM has been harping on about gun laws. Why is no-one asking why he did it?

Notice also how people are now trained to say 'shooter' rather than 'killer'. While I agree that calling someone a shooter is a descriptive title, a shooter does not necessarily kill. A killer kills. A shooter shoots. But now, in the eyes and minds of the public, a "shooter" is synonymous with "killer". This change has been incremental over the past few years but is now successfully implemented. People now no longer ask: Who's the killer? They ask: Who's the shooter?

Thank you for your professional imput. This thread now appears to be besieged with people who connote abnormally high or low IQ with outrageously violent acts that appear out of the blue and give the perpetrator incentive to slaughter his/her mother and 20 children.

The fact remains -- people don't snap and commit crimes without some kind of history or lead-up. They also give out warnings. They also do things like spend months learning how to shoot and stay focused. This takes a presence of mind that would have raised red flags well before the event.

I started this thread because I believe a great injustice has been done against Adam Lanza as well as (clearly) against the other dead people and their families and loved ones. I do not believe that Adam did what he has been accused of doing. I am willing to accept that I am wrong in that belief, but the evidence thus far is not sufficient to convince me that I am wrong. "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark." If this young man did commit this crime, then none of us are safe anywhere, as literally anyone of any 'oddness' whatsoever could suddenly snap, gain perfect sharp-shooting abilities and presence of mind, and mow down everyone in his or her path. However, I do not believe that that this is the way the world works. I believe that this crime was set up to make us believe that this is the way the world works, but that is just spin to further an agenda (relinquishing of guns and the end to the second amendment).
