Guns should be BANNED

You should be banned from this site.

So - how do people defend themselves against the criminals who come after them, (that would include armed robbers, rapists, home invaders where innocent people are brutalized)?

What is your advice to women who seek to protect themselves and their children from violence? Or what is your advice to men who seek to protect their families from violent criminals?

Sure....let's take away the guns from law abiding citizens rendering them defenseless against the criminals who will always be armed. Makes a lot of sense to me....NOT!!!

The asshole did not own any guns....his law abiding mother did....he took totally legal guns!!

If there were guns around many more people would be alive.

WAY TOO MANY GUNS IN THIS COUNTRY....disarming good people to punish a few assholes is not going to solve anything.....arm more people.....places like this school might as well have a sign extorting it as a murders safety zone!!

We all want peace. But maybe you can give your advice on how a woman can protect herself and her children from would-be assailants. And how a man can protect his family from home invaders and the like?

I have no gun. I know no-one with a gun. I walk down the street and I feel safe. I'm often home alone at night and I feel comfortable enough to keep the door unlocked.

This is a cultural problem. These things started happening after the break up of the traditional family unit. We also took God out of the schools. I've said before that we have a whole generation of young people who lack empathy and moral code. At a minimum I would support the idea of having a very visible armed guard at every school in America. I would also be happy to pay a little more in taxes to support the cost of this. Schools are vulnerable because generally they have NO security. At a minimum lets start with this idea.
