And why don't the Turks to Arabs to Iranians want Kurdish to have a piece? Because the Kurdish will do in a few years what those other nations have MISERABLY failed to do for decades. Just observe Iraqi Kurdistan; it is so prosperous that the "democratic" Arab government is finding it hard to swallow to the point of almost escalating it to a civil war. In Syria, the people who fought the jihadist FSA members - without any support from Assad the dictator - are the Kurdish. Even to the point that it scared the crap out of jihadists. Kurdish populations from every country have made it clear they do NOT want religious oppression, they do not want a dictator. They want democracy and freedom to prosper. They have VERY limited US support, because the US caters to a conglomerate of lobbies - of which the Saudi's are a part of. In fact, I've found the only people supporting the Kurdish struggle are Israelis. Maybe for their own self-gain(I don't think so) or maybe because they understand what it's like to be hated and persecuted for being who you are. Or maybe because the Kurdish and Jewish are close relatives? I don't know. All I know is, it is DISGUSTING that the Kurdish people go largely ignored by the MSM, only sporadically are they mentioned and then only as appendix to the FSA(which raises huge questions about journalistic integrity and even raises questions about the political allegiance of these so called news-stations). FOX for example, is half-owned by a Saudi Arabian. It is digusting because they are the voice for freedom, equality and democracy in the Middle-East. |
| Éireann Eisteacht le gra! User ID: 29934892 12/15/2012 10:43 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That's bullshit. Absolute bullshit. 4 times now the US has promised the Kurds a Kurdish state in Northern Iraq in exchange for their "help" against Saddam Hussein. Twice during the 1st and 2nd Gulf Wars (Including Desert Shield), and twice again during our invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Countless Kurds have died helping the US and her allies to gather intelligence in the region and when it finally came time to pay up on their promise, the US government turned the Kurds into insurgents and "terrorists". No mention at all in the MSM about the successes the Kurds have had with a dual government, building key infrastructure for business and education, medical facilities and an improved quality of life for the Kurds. All of that went out the door when the Kurds said, "This time ya need to make good on your promise." FOX for example, is half-owned by a Saudi Arabian. It is digusting because they are the voice for freedom, equality and democracy in the Middle-East. I'm watching. I've been studying the Kurdish issue for many years, vast majority of the Greeks support the Kurdish struggle too because we've lived together for so many years before the Ottoman persecutions 90 years ago, we know how it is too, although our relations have been tested back then coz Kurds have been exploited to form death squads against the Christians in the name of Islam, but i believe we've overcomed this during the 80's and we both understand that fascist brainwashed ethnic cleansing policies was the problem back then and not the people. I do agree that the western MSM are downplaying the issue but we have daily Kurdish updates here in Greece, western MSM are starting to report more about it too the last couple of years. US is playing with the Arabs for now, but it's supporting the Kurds, they playing with both sides, it's all about the water, when Kurdistan will be formed after this ww, it will have control of most of the water resources in the ME and that's why it will probably be a puppet state and that's why it has Israel and US support, but first things first for TPTB plans i guess.
