2nd "shooter" disappears???!!!!

I think they screwed up the colorado movie so they had to quickly come up with another gimmick . Judging from what I been reading on here it looks like they didnt learn from the lessons at the colorado go around. Now we are listening to all these psychologist on cnn telling watch your kids sleeping and tell them to go paint ... looking at the pics and they show still images of all law enforcers , so many different pictures of them aiming guns and the school background has different trees, fences , etc etc . From the chopter view the school looks like a barn . The interviews seem to always have some mexican construction crew digging up a road... update they told the kids to draw during lockdown.. maryann jacobs claims everybody knows everybody

Ryan tweeted "I didn't do it I was at work", the person we are talking about was reported as coming out of the woods in fatigues, with gun/s, and saying I didn't do it. There were articles about him being in custody and questioned and arrested at the school.

This reminds me of the Ft. Hood shooting.

When it was going on, people who were hiding in the area who were witnessing what was happening said there were 2 or 3 shooters who appeared to be white men wearing heavy military garb. They were going around just shooting people.

At one point it was reported that one of the shooters was caught.

After all the dust settled, the story changed, and now the shooter was the single Muslim extrememist US Army psychiatrist.

I felt all along something was very wrong with that whole story.

The media really has got this so fucked up beyond belief....even everyone here in glp has been spinning in circles on the facts.

they release info to the world, and then come to find out it was wrong. This could be one of those statements.

We need a facts only thread so we can really put it all together.

exactly! But, here is the thing. When we were told initially that Adam killed his dad and drove to his mom's work and killed her and her class, it didn't make sense, but you could follow crazy to some degree. Meaning, to kill his mom he had to track her down and work and those kids were just at the wrong place at the wrong time, right? Even if she was a substitute teacher....he still have to find her right??

Well, now we know she was NOT a teacher there. And maybe, only maybe a part time substitute. ANd stranger still.....he didn't need to go to school to find and kill her, because we now know, he killed HER at home (not his dad) and then drove HER car to a school where she wasnt and only worked there part time. Bizarre.
Still no word on who (Ryan/Adam/or neither) had a daughter there) Which is strange, because did she survive?

Didn't he also say that the weapons being used were a long range rifle and a shotgun.

And THIS is probably why the school is in a lockdown and the parents have been locked out of seeing their deceased children.

This doesn't happened that often where there are rule books and protocol to follow.

Besides, we're getting news via the media. And we know how the media is. They're as bad as politicians with their untruths.

I don't recall hearing that the guy from the woods was arrested. I heard he was brought in for questioning and no news after that. I would think the media would do a follow-up question on this. What happened to investigative journalism?

Later Update #5: Here we seem to be getting a bit more of a handle on the origins of this. According to the AP, the origin of Lanza’s alleged tie to the school seems tenuous …

A law enforcement official speaking on condition of anonymity said investigators believe Lanza attended the school several years ago but appeared to have no recent connection to the place.

At least one parent said Lanza’s mother was a substitute teacher there. But her name did not appear on a staff list. And the law enforcement official said investigators were unable to establish any connection so far between her and the school.

From what I understand, Ryan is the brother and they have him in custody. I thought that was the same guy who said he didnt do it on his fb. Also, I heard on talk radio there was mention of footage of them hauling off ryan. Has anyone seen this? Really curious to see if it is the same person who was being passed around on fb.

Also, I am not proned to believe yet there was a second shooter, because they cant get their facts straight what they release to the public. This could be pure crap. We will have to wait and see.

Your memory is correct I watched this person being led away from the scene by Police in handcuffs saying he did not do it. It was not clear as to whether this was immediately after the alarm was raised and Police showed up or whether it happened significantly after giving this individual time to walk into the school area.

The gunman, wearing black fatigues and a military-style vest, was found dead in a classroom, but it was not clear whether he took his own life or was shot by police.

A second man wearing camouflage trousers was seen being handcuffed. One witness described him shouting: “I didn’t do it.”

This guy wearing camo needs to be cleared up. It wasn't Adam (he was dead) It wasn't Ryan (he was in New Jersey and at work) . So, who was it?

yeah but you are giving telegraph credit for being truthful. there has been a lot of lies and false information thus far. We cant assume anything is true at this point regarding a second shooter.

But, Ryan was not on the scene...he was at work in New Jersey. The may have arrested him too, but it could not have been the guy on the scene who was arrested, because Ryan was not there.

They kept saying on the news that they caught a second man in the woods dressed in camo. He was telling the parents he didn't do it as the police walked him past them.
This whole thing sounds fishy. They said the assault rifles were registered to the mother. How many kindergarden teachers own assault rifles, let alone guns ?
They are now saying that Adam Lanza had Aspergers syndrome. Do kids with Aspergers get drivers licences ?
Was there any help for this mother after Adam graduated high school ? Sounds to me like the rest of the family abandoned her.

Something else: Yesterday on GLP there was a post that this maniac had posted what he was going to do. I opened the post and it had a link to some site called 4 channel. The post was something to the effect that the poster was going to do something yesterday and there was picture of the Columbine maniacs right alongside. There were several idiotic replies and the poster came back and said he was IN CONNECTICUT and watch yesterday's 9AM NEWS. I can't find the original GLP post but it was put up between 1 and 4 pm.

Forget about a second shooter and the Media's ability to get stuff right (we all agree they fudge it up royally) What we can agree on is many of us here heard live reports or interviews with witnesses who claim a person in CAMO was found on scene (maybe with weapons or not, maybe in the woods or not) and was handcuffed and taken into custody.Some people here saw the footage. He may be innocent, we just want to know WHO WAS THAT???

Uhm probably a guy in the woods that is a hunter, there are tons of deer hunters in CT this time of year. Yeah he was in camo pants, cause thats what they wear when they hunt. You didn't hear any more about it because he was questioned and released.

Supposedly he had Asperger's (high functioning autism) could have driven,...however, he might not have been able with the other issues like personality disorder, which would explain the reason he had his brother's id (in case he got stopped or pulled over) and his mom's car (he didn't have one)

The best picture they have of the shooter is a picture from 2005 ???? Come on man!!! watching fox live shot of people waiting for a police update shows a man in the black cap and dark trench coat was walking repeatly behind the cnn news reporter. He must be an actor .
