Anonymous Coward User ID: 8397139 United States 12/15/2012 11:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Glock 27 Quoting: SaveUSa Good to have a 23 as well, but the 27 is a great conceal weapon, and one that packs a .40 caliber whop. Your .380 might just piss someone off. I love the idea of the .40 cal, but I don't like the sharp recoil. That's just me. I think a .45 is just about perfect, but most of them are so bulky, and the compact ones have too few rounds. Me, I prefer the 9mm. I feel I can put more rounds on target more quickly if need be, and with a reasonably compact weapons that conceals well and holds a reasonable amount of ammunition. Not arguing - just discussing. |

Glock 26 for 9mm I love Glock. I've never once had a problem with mine and have put several hundred rounds through it. I really like the feel of a Sig, but as you know they're more expensive and about a pound heavier I believe... |

Mwalk Low Earth Orbit User ID: 1067150 United States 12/15/2012 12:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | there are so many good semi's out there i really can't suggest just one or so. What i do suggest is you get SJH rounds, that will leave big holes in enemies, in most caliber. I myself have a .45 aand a .223 S/W. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” |

My springfield holds 10 and one in the chamber, not too bad for a compact .45. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” |

If I skin that smoke wagon all bets are off, I may opt for a larger cal. but for the wifey she doesn't like recoil so.....I digress. |

Momed24 User ID: 19729113 United States 12/15/2012 12:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I carry a Smith&Wesson Bodyguard 380 with laser sight in a pocket holster that I have never had any issues with at all and it is very accurate at 30'. But just to safeguard myself in case it may ever happen to jam or misfire when I may really need it (hope not lol) I carry a ruger p95 in a paddle holster on my hip with extra mag and just to be safe I carry my Beretta 25 in a a good safariland holster in my boot. I try not to over do things. Just my 2 cents on the S&W Bodyguard though. Good Luck! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 4637200 United States 12/15/2012 12:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Ruger 380 is a bitch to shoot, there's just not much to hold onto and it's a light gun. Rent one at the range before you consider it. The new Springfield XDS .45 single stack will be my next purchase. The gun has it all IMO for a concealed carry piece. |

Both are easier guns to shoot. The 9 mm round has more snap then the .40 which pushes. |
