They're screaming for more gun control but we better ban knives, cars, ladders, & beds too!

Of course, we should ban everything we don't like. It works all the time....

Let's ban drugs.. then no one will get addicted... Oh wait..

People who think bans will accomplish anything are delusional at best.

Why not just lock everyone in a cell, then you wouldn't have to ban anything!!!

You give me a #2 pencil and I can shove that into your eye! You give me a rope I can strangle you with it. You give me a piece of paper I could slowly saw your head off! You give me a mother board I could do it faster. If you give me any appliance that has a cord I could kill you with it. You give me a lighter I could set you on fire! If you give me a bank I could rob the world! And if I control the news, I could control your minds!

A man wielding a knife attacked students Friday at a school in central China, leaving 22 children and one adult injured, according to state-run media reports.

The attack occurred at the gate of an elementary school in the village of Chengping, in Henan Province. Police arrested the attacker, who they identified as local resident Min Yingjun, 36.

Children as young as six were among those hospitalized after the attack, suffering injuries including slashes to the ears and head.

Cars in U.S. kill 40,000 people per year (guns 11,000)

Imagine a plane full of people crashing, killing everyone on board, every single day. That’s how many people die on America’s roads daily, says the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
“Motor vehicle crashes in the United States result in more than 40,000 deaths per year,” says the Institute in the journal Injury Prevention. “That is, on each of the 6,209 consecutive days included in this study, an equivalent of a plane load or more of people died on the roads.”

That was a miracle that no one died. People sure could have.

I think we need to stop blaming the guns and start dealing with the people pulling those triggers.

I'll never see why you guys in the US 'need' so many guns.

Yes all the things mentioned can kill people... but nothing listed is as portable or efficient as a gun.

I don't even want to ban guns, I think people should be able to defend themselves... but do we really need auto-shotguns, or high-capacity magazines, uzi's or other rapid-fire death dispensers?
